I signed up for their real estate class on June 27th, 2023. I paid for their most basic bundle which was a total of $256 with fees since it was through PayPal. I went to my first class on June 28th, 2023. It was the night time class. 20 minutes in I realized I didn’t like their way of teaching, but I decided to stay on a bit longer. 1 hour in I signed off because I couldn’t understand a single word the guy was saying who was teaching the class. I look through the paperwork to see if they have a refund policy, and it turns out they do. It says to let them know after your first class if you feel that this school isn’t for you, so they can refund you (General Summary of refund policy). So I send an email that night stating that I will be withdrawing from their school because their teaching style isn’t for me and I would like a refund. They respond by asking me to go to class the next morning. They didn’t acknowledge anything I wrote in my email which was a bit weird, but I decide that I will go just to give it another go, and I was thinking maybe the person wanted me to try another class before I made my final decision. I go for one hour out of the four hours. I still am not feeling this class. So, I send an email making it clear that I don’t want to continue with them. They seemed very hesitant to give me my refund. The owner who’s name is Susan asked me multiple times over the course of 3 weeks where it said I could get a refund. So I send her a screenshot of the document where it states their refund policy after the first time she asks me. First off how do you not know your refund policy? It took a little bit of back and forth for them to send me anything. I get an email saying that they sent a partial refund of $128 on July 9th, 2023. I follow up with an email asking why I only got half of the refund. No response. I give her a call and she basically tries asking me where I got the refund policy and that I should be happy that I even got anything back. She also tells me that it sounds like I have been drinking. I don’t even drink liquor. I have been sending multiple emails since. I have all the receipts for my emails sent. She still hasn’t given me the other half back. Even tho it is written so clearly in the refund policy she sent me. I shouldn’t have to chase them and keep following up with them to get my money back. I don’t have the time or energy. I will send a screenshot of their refund policy. It’s #10 on the sheet.

Actually what ****** told me was she signed up and then got busy with other things and therefore she did not wish to continue with the course and wanted her money back.

We did refund *** $128 and $120 = $248. Is there anything else we can do for ******? I believe their is a difference of $8.00 that she requested. That was a ****** fee. Please advise if we can assist with anything else.
