      I hired this company to fix my whole house dehumidifier that was pulling a error code. On 7/19/2024, was charged $411.00 to fix this problem. The error code again showed 2 days later when I went in basement in morning and found the system off sometime at nivht, I immediately called the company on 7/24, 7/25 and 7/26 was repeated my told someone would call back. No one called on 8/2/2024 called again, was once again told someone would call, office called back a week later and scheduled a appointment on 8/14/2024. The same service man came and replace oxygen sensors, was charged $530.00 and was told the unit was fixed. The u it shut off within a day, showing same code. I attempted to contact company several more timez, again no call back until 9/1. The service man called back and told me how to clean the unit to try fix it. I followed his instructions completely but that also didn't work. I have contacted this company numerous times and told the service man would call. NEVER has!

      When the customer had the first visit from the owner of Christenson Plumbing, he was told that he should replace his 14 year old system that is nearly obsolete and has difficulty to obtain parts replacements. The customer preferred to repair the old system. The technician was able to get the system going, after consulting manufacturer suggestions. After he left, it quit working again. The owner returned customer's phone call on 7/26 and spoke for 5 min., according to cell phone logs. A second visit on 8/14 to attempt repair (customer's desire rather than replace) resulted in lots of cleanout of the system (heavy particulate & mold) and replacing ordered parts. All was working well upon completion. Call logs show that owner then called customer 8/15 for 11 minute call. Owner called him an additional day and left message when there was no answer. The situation remains that his is an old and damaged system, near life expectancy, that will continue to perform in the same way and no repair can be guaranteed. We stand behind all of our installations but never suggest continuing to pay for repair to a compromised system. Sometimes the customer does not want to hear this diagnosis.
