    On, or around, August 17, 2021 (8 months ago) I paid Dave C**** and Courtney ****** $11,400 to replace my roof on my home, it has not been replaced. He has told me on 4 different occasions that he was going to be out to replace the roof with the 4th date of promise being April 14, 2022. He did not contact me until I left him a message asking what was going on. I left him another text today and he is not responding. This is affecting me financially as I need to sell the property and/or get a mortgage refinancing on my home to support the roof's replacement to consolidate debt. The bank is stating they will not allow me to refinance until the roof is replaced. I explained this to Dave and he responded by stating he was going to come out and replace it giving dates that he has not followed through on. As a result this is having a negative affect on my financial situation and causing harm. If he doesn't get the roof on I am in jeopardy of falling behind in payments which will adversely affect my credit, and/or my ability to sell the property for what I owe on it or obtain a refinance, it is apparent he does not understand that.

    I fully intend to complete Ms. ****** roof. It would have been completed already, had another contractor, she hired to do tree work on her property hadn’t dropped a tree and damaged a large portion of the house and roof. Ms. **** asked me what the best way to proceed fixing the damage to house and roof as this now needed to be addressed prior to me doing the roof. I advised her that given the time of year and incoming weather it was not a wise decision for the tree contractor to open the roof up anymore as I wouldn’t be able to get the job finished before winter and cold weather set in. Therefore it would be best to repair the house and secure roof from possibly leaking and I would do the roof once winter was over. She decided to move forward with opening up the roof and house anyways. This caused her to loose the slot in my schedule for her job at the time because I couldn’t push out the other jobs waiting for the other contractor to finish the repairing his damages.There just wasn’t going to be enough time for me to do next job while waiting for the repair and then complete her roof before weather set in. I have been in consistent contact with Ms. **** throughout this and do understand the urgency she feels to get things done and get out from under the house as well as avoid loosing money in the process. ****ver I am also running a business with many other jobs lined up and more coming in weekly and am doing my best to work her back into my calendar. I have tried to explain Al this to her and assure her I am going to get her job done. I’m not exactly sure what more she thinks can be done without directly affecting another customer negatively for something that has nothing to do with them. Lastly I would like to put on record that **** has contacted multiple people and spoke about the situation which has lead to the defamation of character of myself as well as my company on publicly viewed social media accounts. Due to this I have been harassed at the least if not threatened by people I don’t even know through social media private messages.

    I am rejecting this response because: He stated he was going to be at my house no later than April 14th 2022, I have it in writing.  He has not been to the property. He has not stated when he is going to get the work done.  He will not commit to a date, in addition, he stated to me he had my materials back in October 2021 yet when I asked him to please deliver the material to my property he has not done so. 

    I paid him in August 2021 and it is beyond unreasonable after the promises he made to me for April 14th he has not followed through.  We are 2 and a half months from my paying him IN FULL for the service and it has not been done causing more damage to my property.

    The comments that were made on his Facebook page were comments that other people generated and I responded to.  Michael J***** and Jeffrey W******* are having the same issue with Dave.  

    Dave - If you were a true businessman wouldn't the roof be on my house already?  On August 17, 2021 I paid you in full.  You can use whatever excuse you want for not getting the work done, ****ver, I am not the only one complaining.  Please remit.
