    Zero stars. Vacasa is a joke of a company. We are vacation home owners and our experience with them for the last year has been pitiful. Luckily we terminated the contract and are free of them, although we have not been paid out yet which is an issue weve been trying to resolve for weeks. No communication, no followup, missed cleanings, hidden costs, inappropriately billed expenses we didnt sign up for, etc. We followed all owner processes and submitted concerns through the right channels only to be rerouted multiple times with no resolution. This companys earnings are in the dumps - Im hopefully they will go under sooner rather than later so that homeowners and renters can be free of the headaches they create. They have no business still operating. Their executives and board members should be held accountable.

    Horrible Service! We rented an ****** in ********** and after being soaked in the rain we wanted a hot shower. There was no hot water!!! We made multiple attempts to have the problem resolved over 3 days and only finally received a call from a plumber day 3 of our stay. We left day 3 in the morning since we hadnt had a shower in 3 days. They refused to refund us with the excuse we already checked in (how do you know you dont have hot water before check in)?

    One star is too high of a rating for Vacasa. My family stayed in a home in ********, ** on ******************* in late July and it was horrific. We were there for a week. The house was filthy, who wants to deep clean a house when you and your family are supposed to be on vacation? We had made it known immediately that the house was disgusting, and we received no return contact from customer service. Crumbs on furniture, more cobwebs than you could count, filthy floors covered in dog hair. We literally had to vacuum the entire house and lysol every single surface due to the filth. We had previously stayed in this home two years prior and had to clean, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this last stay. There were also the same exact tablecloths from when we had stayed in the home two years ago... gross. We went out and bought tablecloths (which we threw away when we left). There was outdated and broken furniture which resulted in a few of my family members falling over, thankfully without injury.Additionally, we had the fire alarms go off in the middle of the night TWICE. The first time was at 1:30AM on Tuesday, we received no return contact from customer service. Then on Thursday, the fire alarms went off at 2AM, 4AM, and 7AM. Mind you, we had two children under a year old trying to sleep. We had to contact the ************************ TWICE regarding this to try and resolve the issue. Also, the basement was locked and the fire department couldn't do a complete assessment of the home to ensure that nothing was causing the alarms to go off. **************** DID NOT CARE until the Fire Chief said if Vacasa did not correct the issue by 4PM, he was going to SHUT THE HOUSE DOWN AND DEEM IT UNSAFE. My sister tried leaving a review on Vacasa's listing for this home and we just found out today it still has yet to be posted.... but amazing 5 star reviews from ****** have been posted.... interesting.

    Although the home was quite clean, the beds were hard as a rock, the **** was terrible, the cable was quite limited and the ** (that was advertised in the rental listing) was only a window ** in the master bedroom. Despite all of these shortfalls I would have been somewhat satisfied had I not experienced the misfortune of arriving at a rental after a long day's drive to discover I could not shower because the shower DIDN"T WORK! I had to call and then send MULTIPLE TEXTS FOR THE NEXT SIX HOURS in order to get the issue resolved. Which also involved being inconvenienced on a Saturday afternoon to return early to the property from an outing in order to supervise the repairman (who was very pleasant and worked tirelessly to avoid a "forced move" situation for us). Thankfully after an hour and a half of him working on the issue he was able to force the tub diverter into the open position so that the shower, but not the tub spout, would work and we could FINALLY take a shower - 14 HOURS AFTER ARRIVING AT THE RENTAL!I then received an email from Vacasa inditing that late checkout was available "for a fee" and when I inquired about being offered this as a courtesy for all of my stress and inconvenience, I was told that was not possible. Of course, in order to actually get a response, I had to text SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE NEXT TWELVE HOURS. I was quite interested in hearing an explanation as to why I could not be extended this courtesy without being charged a fee for simply allowing me 4 additional hours in the rental after I was inconvenienced for 14 HOURS AND HAD TO CUT MY OUTING SHORT on a Saturday afternoon to return to the property as I did not feel comfortable leaving me belongings in the home with a stranger (I think most guests would feel the same way). Unfortunately for me, your customer service is AWFUL and the response to this inquiry was simply met with "sorry for the inconvenience".

    BEWARE! If I could give this review less stars, I would. We planned a multi family vacation to North Conway during peak season. After a full day at storyland, we received a text that Vacasa had canceled our reservation. Upon calling Vacasa we were told that there was a “pest” problem that had prevented us from using this Airbnb. We are hours away from home with three young children and two seniors. The representatives were unhelpful and unapologetic. After months of looking forward to this trip, we spent the evening driving home.

    What a terrible company to deal with. Our rental in Gilford NH was a beautiful home but did not have usable or Potable water. It reeked of rotten eggs which means there is a presence of bacteria. I contacted them and they told me right away to run it for 5 minutes. We tried that and it made the whole house smell since it was the hot water creating steam. Some of my guest left due to the issue. We had to get bottled water to drink and brush our teeth and wash up. The said they would send someone to fix it the following morning. My wife and kids had to drive home 1.2 hours away to shower so we could attend our child’s college graduation. I waited all day and nobody called or showed up. The claim someone called and I didn’t answer. I had my phone with me the whole time. I have the records of missed calls for the day and nobody called. I could not ask my guests to pay since they never actually stayed. I had to pay the whole 900 plus dollars. They refunded me a measly $135. They never called the following day when we were leaving. I asked the person on the phone for a local representative but they were instructed to not give out local offices numbers or information. I always chatted with someone in Texas or Portland OR I believe.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I was evacuated for hurricane Ian, all airports closed - and they still charged me for my vacation rental in NH. They would even allow me to change the date - due to a hurricane. They are heartless thieves and should be banned from *******
