We hired Synthesis Contracting & Design, llc on 11/21/2022 to demo our master bathroom, rebuild a 7' shower while we were away. We were to have 2 shower heads; He didn't install a shower hand nozzle on the end wall. Main shower head we got was cheap, didn't work properly. Shower wasn't waterproofed. The rainforest didn't work; we had it taken out by our plumber. The linear drain wasn't installed properly, there was no grate. Drain tiled over. Plumbing wasn't installed per Town code; There was electrical tape on waste water pipe in basement; burst?. When we came home after 3 1/2 mos, we had no electricity in the master bathroom. Shower filled up w/ water; pipe in basement burst. He attributed it to a nick by his helper in the valve, and then it wasn't tightened. The tiles on the wall didn't have leveling clips; thus the tile had lippage. Brandon's answer to me, and I quote "I'll install a dimmer and you won't notice it". The guest bathroom had a piece of round molding between tub and the floor. We removed it; the gap is big enough to fit one's pinkie down. The toilet in the guest had to be replaced per Brandon as he said the previous tile stuck to the bottom of the toilet. We don't buy that story. The floor is so crooked as well that the toilet doesn't lay flat and the round head and nail was cut short. Shower floor starting cracking quickly. We got opinions, answers, only some are attached. Our new tile man did the demo & there was an electrical junction box installed in the shower behind the drywall they buried. We have prior pics of before. There was a loose wire w/ tape hanging. We hired an electrician, a permit from our town, & rectified the mess. The junction box said "**** ** *** **** **", photo attached. We've spent approx $25k to date to repair shoddy work. Floors are next. He promised he would hire his brother-in-law, electrician; and a plumber. He took our $; went the cheap route. There is no more room to write. Elderly scam is what we got!
