Mr. ********* has been a customer of ours for several years, he has purchased a number of vehicles over the years and all of these vehicle were purchased/sold on an AS IS basis, he is very familiar with these vehicles and usually brings a family member in to check them out. He purchased this vehicle in April of 2023, we financed the purchase through our buy here pay here in house finance program, he made weekly payments up until November of 2023 when he stopped paying and responding to our collection attempts. We received an anonymous phone call in July of 2024, the caller **** *********) told us the vehicle was in ********** and to come get it, we picked up the vehicle out side of his apartment building, the car was in very poor condition, the vehicle was junked and the funds were applied as credit to the loans outstanding balance. When he was informed of the deficiency balance he called here several times and was verbally abusive to the General Manager and the Office Manager. We have followed all proper protocols and we are sorry that it has come to this after all of the previous positive experiences that he has had.Review fromTatum G

Sell **** vehicles! Bought wrangler after 100 miles everything went wrong! Keep in mind $25,000! They said as is cause tires and mods! Money pit! Ben is 1000% percent dishonest! Told us amazing buy! Nothing wrong great condition! Engine light, abs, traction light. Went back next day. They said we dint take trades in and overlook them! As is! But yet our jeep overlander got taken in and looked at! You telling me you take in a trade without looking it over and go on word?? No you lie snakes! Then when I questioned Lil John K**** wish I was from southie! Said I tried to talk you out of it?? By how popping in, napoleon complex ?? and saying you sure you want a lifted wrangler for yours? I said yes maybe it's Ben's lies??? Maybe he thought crap salesman was honest I don't know? Now we have rear jack hammer sound on rear diff!? I'll also say Lil John tried to call me like a Lil dog and tell me he would only talk. ?? John ****! You ripped of a veteran! Shame on you! Taking jabs and I'll post this all over you guys are shady and I wouldn't trust you as far as I can toss you. Don't forget 1998!Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett

Any vehicle that we take in trade that we are selling AS IS, we do not bring in to our shop to look at. Vehicles that have clearly been modified i.e. lifts, over sized tires and light bars are automatically sold on an AS IS basis as State of NH inspection rules do not allow us to place an inspection sticker on the vehicle due to the modifications, this also means that we are unable to place a dealer plate on the vehicle for consumer test drives, this particular vehicle was never looked at by a service technician at Auto Wholesalers. The Wrangler purchase by this customer was purchase 100% AS IS, we made sure the consumer was aware of what AS IS meant and that the vehicle was being sold AS IS with no warranty. The consumer stated they knew what AS IS meant and they have had several Jeeps with aftermarket parts and they knew what they were purchasing. This particular Wrangler was only in our possession for a few days and in that time we did not notice any red flags with the vehicle. It is unfortunate the customers are having issues with their vehicle, as that is never what we want to hear. On each AS IS vehicle description we write that we suggest the customer bring a mechanic with them to check out the vehicle prior to purchase. The customers signed approximately a half dozen documents that stated the vehicle was being sold on an AS IS basis.Review fromMorgan G

This dealership is terrible. They repo’d my car for a couple of weeks and when I got it back there was lots of damage to it! Before they would even let me see it they made me sign an agreement not to take the car out of New England, keep 6 mos insurance on it etc. they think they own the car because they co-signed for it. See you in court soon!!!!Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett

The loan program she is a part of has a certain number of requirements that she was aware of at the time of delivery and she signed paperwork that states the loan stipulations and requirements. The Credit Union that extended the loan does not lend to customers outside of New Hampshire and Vermont, she took the vehicle out of state for several weeks and the vehicle returned with lots of damage. Because we guarantee the loan (co-sign) it serves us no purpose to damage the vehicle while here as a repossession, as if the debtor does not redeem the vehicle, we have to payoff the loan and repair any damage to the vehicle to be able to resell it. She also as part of the delivery documents signed off knowing that we would be active in verifying insurance coverage and payment status, at the time of repossession, she did not have full coverage insurance, as she obtained a binder and failed to make the first premium payment on the policy, she drove around from the time of delivery 02-24-23 to 04-14-23 with no insurance and she failed to make her first payment on the vehicle, putting her in a first payment default status on the loan her first payment was due on 03-26-23. On several occasions, she admitted and also her boyfriend admitted to damaging the vehicle. She obtained real financing with a retain credit union because we are guaranteeing the loan for her without this guarantee, she would not have been approved for a loan. She can at anytime payoff the loan and or refinance with another bank or credit union. We will continue to monitor her account and make sure her payments are being made and her insurance remains active. We do not hide what this loan program entails and how the loans are serviced by us.Review fromDiane K.

Paid 28,000 cash for a truck. In the first year after purchase, spent over $5,000.00 on repairs and replacements including a transmission. During my first oil change after the purchase, the tech showed me how filthy the transmission fluid was staying “this is really bad” and I had it changed. When the new transmission was placed, I was informed that the connector was previously changed and it was frayed causing the transmission issues. Within the first 1-7 months after spending a good chunk of change on the vehicle, I needed new windshield wipers, tires and key transponder then the transmission. Lately, the engine fans stay on when I turn off the engine. My mechanic cleared it but if it keeps happening, that will be yet another expense. It is disheartening When you spend nearly $30,000 on a vehicle, you don’t expect to keep spending your hard earned money repairing it. The truck has been in auto shops for a total of 17 days this year. I had to borrow cars to get to work, other days I couldn’t get to work. When I was at Merchants Auto of Hooksett, I explained to Salesman Ben that I am a travel nurse and need a reliable truck to get to my jobs. Well, I lost out on a travel contract because the truck was in the shop for so long. I now have to spend time getting another contract that will reimburse me as much as the one I lost. So far, no luck. The worst part is putting trust into a company that says they “take pride in bringing you high quality vehicles” When I called to discuss my concern, I was merely blown off.Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett

I'm sorry to hear that you have had the issues with the vehicle you purchased from us. We do take great pride in shopping our vehicle to make sure thay are safe and realiable. That being said, you purchased an 8 year old vehicle with 130,000 miles, sometimes things come up that are beyond our control wihich is why we offer extended warranties. I'm not sure who you spoke to in regards to the issues with the vehicle, but I the General Manager was never contacted and our service manager has not spoke with you in regards to your concerns either. Key batteries and wipers are minimal and we would have happily replaced those items for you even after the 30 day/1000 mile warranty. You purchased the vehicle over a year ago and this is the 1st time we have heard of these issues. We always try to work with our customers when problems arise to try to rectify the situation. Again we are sorry that you have had these issues that does go against what we strive for.Review fromMikayla H

If I could give John and his team at Auto wholesalers of Hooksett 100 stars, I would. This man changed my life simply out of the kindness of his heart and I didn’t even buy my car from him. Long story short, I bought a car at a different dealership, and there was a laundry list of issues that I was unaware of (after being told it was guaranteed to pass inspection). They fixed a few issues and when I came to pick it up I asked for them to buy the car back because it was not the car I payed for. They would not accept it back. That’s when I called auto wholesalers of Hooksett and spoke with John, and he offered to help me without a second thought. I brought the car in and found out that the car I bought was completely unsafe, unable to pass inspection (it did not even have the parts necessary to pass any inspection—all of which I was guaranteed). I’m just a young mom trying to make a living and provide a life for my kids, I don’t know much about cars. But what I do know is then when one dealership tried to completely take advantage of me, John stepped in. He went to bat for me, he had my back and he even stepped in with the other dealership when needed. He educated me on my rights and because of him I was able to get a full refund of $13,000 on my car. Instead of having $1000 left in my bank account and no car I now have the financial cushion I need to put myself and my family in a much safer, dependable situation. The fact that this man, a perfect stranger, helped me without a second thought has changed my life. If you’re looking for a dealership that will treat you like family, take care of you and your family as they would their own, and have you’re best interest at heart, go to auto wholesalers of Hooksett. John and his team will not disappoint, I promise you that!Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett
