    We were charged extra money on our account without being notified first. When we called to ask why, they cancelled our reservation less than 12 hours before we were supposed to be there.

    These people were were charged fees for the additional guests that they disclosed that they would be bringing.  This man's wife, *****, signed a contract on June 14, 2022,  where she signed and agreed that she was aware that their are additional charges and fees for additional guests.  We also fully disclose bringing additional guests could result in additional fees on our website.  It is not our policy to call the people who made the reservation or their husbands to notify them of additional charges because they signed a contract and received this contract three times and should understand the agreement that they signed.  The wife got combative and making threats in e-mails she send to us.  The wife ***** stated that she felt unsettled staying here.  Her emails and time spent on the phone with us made us feel so uncomfortable and unsafe having them stay here, so their reservation was cancelled.  The instant we cancelled their reservation all their payments were refunded to their credit card and we even voided the credit hold for the cabin rental deposit, so unsure why they sent a complaint to the BBB.  This man is upset and him and his wives feelings are hurt, but that is not a reason for a legitimate or valid complaint to the BBB.  His money has been refunded and no fees were charged so this complaint needs to be removed immediately!  Let me know if you want the screen shots to show the refunds that were issued yesterday.  Thanks!
