    thousand dollars they said that the vehicle was fine and all that was wrong with it was a coil. Now I am a single mother with three children, the owner had known this as I walked in with my child and i had mentioned that I had two others. I have no clue about vehicals and sold it to me as is. Few days after I brought the car to a shop they had advised me to bring it back to reliable Auto because the car was not safe. I had spoken to the owner about the issue he said it was a great vehicle and the mechanic doesn't know what they are talking about. I then brought it to get the vehicle inspected and it was not inspectable because there was numerous problems. Few weeks later the car stopped working completely note that I've tried bringing the car back three separate times.

    **************** came into our dealership on 2/17/2024, walking. She asked if we had any cars for $5000 as she has had a hard time finding any. We had a couple cheaper cars so she looked and drove one, the ****** impreza in question. during the test drive the check engine light came on. We then informed her that we could scan the car, which i did for her personally, it came up as a cyl. misfire, which at the time i told her we can take a look at it and see what the problem is. At the time she responded, " no i don't care it drives fine ill fix it myself, i just need a car i can drive today" and then proceeded to purchase the car. please see attached legal documents, the buyers guide that states this is an as is purchase with no warranty, and the purchase in sale under " warranty information" "we sell the Vehicle AS IS - NOT EXPRESSLY WARRANTED OR GUARANTEED< WITH ALL FAULTS " it is very unfortunate what has happened with the car, she did come back, not 3 times but once, and i did say i could help her out if anything bad was to happen as we are not car dealers out to get anyone. At this point she chose to leave a bad review on ****** and contact the BBB instead of ask us to help her. We are unwilling to do anything anymore for her due to the avenue she has taken instead of a different path to have her issues with us resolved. We do wish her the best though.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: There is no resolution to the issues at hand quite like before on the company's part. I have called as well as gone into the shop to address the issues at hand. I will gladly take off the ****** review and give a better rating if that is an issue for your company but only if the vehicle can be replaced, my money back, or  if it can be fixed with the issues at hand. I have put a lot more money than expected to be for this vehicle as it was told to me at the date of the sale it was just a coil. I was unaware of what a coil was so I asked how much that would cost me I was provided with the answer of a coil is only $10. So I approved that because I believed I was getting a vehicle that was inspectable as well as having no other issues . That is what my intentions have been around the idea of purchasing a vehicle. Bringing the vehicle to mekenike they have found that there was still many more problems with said vehicle that they had come across and that  these problems have been there for a while including the date that I had purchased it. I would love a resolution to this on both ends. In my opinion this vehicle should have never been sold to me and should have been looked over once more before it being put on a lot. I am a very understanding individual but I don't feel like this is customer satisfactory in the slightest bit. I believe third parties are quite helpful if an issue hasn't been resolved or if  communication is difficult.

    again, we DID say we would put it through our shop first and you refused and said you would take it "AS IS". we scanned the car and explained to you that a cylinder misfire could be as little as a spark plug, coil or much worse. you still decided to buy the car after that. also to your point, the wiring on the coil was found to be the fault on your car if we remember correctly. as in once that was fixed your misfire did go away. your engine stopped running most likely when you came back complaining of a "knocking" which is due to low oil on Subarus. We can not be liable for lake of normal maintenance on vehicles once a customer purchases the car. So again, to be clear your misfire DID get fixed on your car. if your motor stopped working it was from something else. all of our cars normally come with 90 day warranties, but you got if i recall correctly a $1500 discount due to the check engine light? so that's why we sold it as is and did not provide a warranty. as the saying goes , you cant have your cake and eat it too. there is only so much we can do when discounting a car. As for taking the review down, unfortunately our company has a very strict " NO BLACKMAIL POLICY" We will not be threatened on bad ****** reviews or BBB complaints in order to fix your issue. you could have came here and talked to us first, every other time you came in we were nice and polite to you, your using this avenue as a scare tactic to get what you want. to be clear even the BBB has ZERO legal or civil authority , i am simply responding to this out of respect for there hard work they do on a daily basis.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: you had only brought down or said that you had brought the price down because I was about to walk away from your shop to go to the one across the street and u said that the car has been there for awhile not because of the check engine light. Also you have a no black mail policy that's a bit narcissistic because that is exactly what you have done to my family and I do not make it like the bad guy here you have stabbed me in the back and stole my money all I have been asking for this entire time is for my money back another vehicle I have never done anything like this before or had gone through a company completely stealing my money as for personal maintenance The day of the very first phone call i had brought the car to het an oip change so don't yo dare blame that on me I provided you that paperwork of the oil change the date i had gone in so you were well aware  you have been in the wrong this entire time taken advantage of me and making me the bad guy when in fact you stole a customers money anf put my children in danger .
