To whom it may concern, I want to make a complaint. It is on *********************. ************* is I believe the owner at Erick&#**;s custom Exhaust + Auto H313733323534**303231H. 386 D.W. Highway Merrimack, N.H. *****. ************. On the 9th of March 2024 I was at this business at 8am. I made an appointment for 8am Monday March 11th for auto inspection. I also mentioned, I thought I had a H323131323336****3136H problem. I dropped my car off and left. Inspections usualy do not take too long. I called around 2pm on Tuesday 12 March to ask if my inspection had been done, no was the answer but Ill call you by the end of the day. I did not get a call. On Wed. 13th march around 10am ************* called me to say my car was ready, I went ahead and did the H323131323336****3136H repair. My self and my son - ******************************* arrived to H333037**373531**3836H Auto at 2.15am. My auto actually not ready, he ***** was still working on it, he said a few more minutes. I ask did I get my inspection sticker, well no, my inspection guy called out sick. So my son ******* paid for the repair $640.oo dollars. ***** then told me he was taking the car to another place to be inspected. he was gone about 20 mins. came back and proceded to inform us, it failed inspection and would have $2,000.00 dollars more of repairs. If ************* had done my inspection first I would have known the depth of what was wrong. I never would have had the exshaust repaird. The vehicle is 17yrs old it is not even worth that kind of money. As it was we checked on line for the cost of parts for what had been done, we it seems there was overcharging for the parts. I am 89yrs old I only have Soc. Sec. income. If my son had not been able to cover I would have been in trouble. ************* might have taken my car. I might just say I believe that what we learned of the cost of parts it was around $250.oo over charge. I will also say that I undersand I might not recieve any refund. ************************ should not be allowed to operate this way. This was the first time in all my years I failed an auto inspection. As I said, had this been done, the inspection would have been the only cost. Thank you. He should have to return the cost of the H323131323336****3136H repair. This car is now in wreck yard. Sincerly ************************* I should add: ************* did not give me the official N.H State inspection paper. I don&#**;t know the name of the garage that failed me.

Hello, the initial appointment was for an exhaust leak.   After fixing the exhaust leak, she asked about a state inspection.  My mechanic had been out sick and I didn't want her to have to wait any longer so I took it to a neighboring inspection station.  I was trying to be accommodating with helping her with her inspection.  I had no idea the vehicle would not pass inspection.  I repaired the exhaust leak like I was asked to do.

On September 21, 2022 I had my vehicle towed to Erick's Custom Exhaust and Auto Repair located at 386 D.W. Highway, Merrimack, NH, 03054 to repair my 2011 Chevrolet Impala. The work was done on the right front passenger side including: the inner and outer tie rod, lower control arm, shock & strut, axel shaft, front end alignment, & stabilizer bar control link. When I picked the vehicle up, everything seemed great, until I got home and I can hear scraping, grinding, cracking, rubbing. I made another appointment the following Thursday for them to relook at it and they said everything is fine. I refused to believe that because no one knows my vehicle better than me, who drives it daily. I then went to another shop that specializes in Chevrolets and they told me that I still needed a front end alignment, the wheel bearing & wheel bearing hub should have been and needs to be replaced, my ABS & Traction Control is popping up on my dashboard because they messed up my stabilizer bar control link. The second opinion I received couldn't help but laugh and shake their heads. When I called back to tell them once again something isn't right I was hung up on and my further calls were ignored. I spent $1,659.92 and my vehicle is not doing better, it's getting worse. They say their work is guaranteed and their parts are warrantied. I spent that much money for them to not even do all the work and put the old wheel bearing and wheel bearing hub back on the vehicle with all the new parts. I also dropped the car off without a hole in my driver side door and when I picked it up, I have a hole in my door that looks like a gunshot. When I confronted them they laughed and said the mechanic who did the work should of took pictures beforehand. I want a full refund so I can bring my vehicle elsewhere and I also want the damage to my door compensated, especially with winter coming, that hole is going to rust and rot my door. The invoice number is 3069.
