    We had a leak tech company out two years in a row to repair a crack in our pool. They recommended we get the pool plastered so that the problem would be fixed permanently and sent us to affordable pools. When we hired affordable pools. we let them know we had a crack and the pool was leaking and that we needed to re-plaster. They did this two years ago and our contract says we have a 10 year warranty. At no point during this process did they say that cracks are structural and that plastering would not fix our problem. It was very clear that there was a large crack and this is why we were hiring them. When we took the pool cover off this year we discovered that the pool was half empty and there is a large crack. We called and asked about the crack/leak and let them know we have a ten year warranty. They came to our house and said that there is no leak and want us to pay for a diver that they used. They also said the crack is structural and that it is not covered under warranty. The crack can be seen clearly from the side of the pool so there was no need for a diver. If they were going to charge us for a diver they should have let us know that before they came and given us a price. The pool is 100% leaking and we have a water delivery invoice for 9 thousand gallons to prove it We are running the hose overnight weekly to keep up with the leaking pool. Chris has been texting us and we have asked him to call us so we could discuss this and he ignored us and finally responded with an email saying the issue is structural and not covered under warranty. We are so disgusted with this company and would NEVER recommend them to anyone! Their warranty means nothing.

    **** ***** gunite pool is structurally cracked. Affordable Pools did not build the pool. Affordable installed a new plaster finish. The plaster finish is only 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick and will not stop or prevent the gunite (the gunite is the shell, the foundation of the pool) from its structural cracking. This pool is also sinking due to whoever built the pool did not do proper excavation. We also told **** we would only communicate with him through email or text so we have a clear copy of everything said as he has been very abusive verbally to our office staff, as well as he has claimed on several occasions that someone from our office told him that we would do some work for free. It seems a lot of exaggerations have come from ****. We did tell him the cracking is not warrantied, but we also told him we would repair the cracked plaster finish for him but the crack really needs staples to properly repair the gunite cracks. he did not want to discuss the staples or even having us fix the plaster. He also owes us money on his project and has an outstanding balance. I would not recommend doing any work for this customer by anyone as we had to chase him for every payment as well as he still owes us money and according to his contract he has signed we technically do not have to warranty anything for him which we were willing to do. I believe this person is extremely unstable and might need to seek medical help.
