This company does extremely poor quality work with illegal alien workers. There all kinds of install issues with the metal roofing from mismatched panels to crooked drip edges to missing roof sections -- this company and the owner ************************* do not care about the quality of his work.He will blame you for his poor workmanship, and hang up on you if you dare call him out on said poor work. He sub contracted the metal roofing work to another scam company called Pro Roofers that did a horrendously poor job installing the metal panels, but not before **** guaranteed their work.**** ended up stealing money from me, and then leaving me in a lurch because he refused to complete the job correctly and professionally.I will be taking legal action against this company, and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well as OSHA, the ** State licensing board, etc.You have been warned.

Good Afternoon, I will be responding to this case so the complainant can view; however, I feel it necessary to inform you I have had to retain the legal counsel of Attorney R. ************************* of ******* ********** PLLC in this matter due to the tremendous level of harassment, defamation, dishonesty, and libel I have had to endure the past six days since ending my relationship with this customer. Sadly, there will be no resolution here and I am more than prepared to present my work and defend my reputation in a courtroom setting if the harassment and defamation continues. For these reasons, I respectfully request that this complaint as well as my published response are not listed for public view.

    Thank you

Sadly, this is a dishonest and slanderous review of myself, my company, and my subcontractors. It is very clear not only from this review but also the past five days of harassment and threatening I have endured, this consumer does not wish to work with the BBB or myself to resolve this job as he states here or to part ways with me peacefully. He only wishes to cause irreparable damage to my reputation and good name as a Southern NH Roofing Contractor. I have been in business for over twenty three years and would never have survived had I done these things I am being accused of. The context missing from the above complaint is that the metal roof in question was done as a portion of a large-scale home improvement project completed for this consumer. The roof, as well as our other work, was completed in cooler temperatures during the Winter and has been in place for a number of months now. It is installed properly and has kept the home watertight and will continue to keep the home watertight. The customer supplied the metal roof panels for this installation as he had ordered and bought them from his previous roofer whom he parted company with in the same manner as he has myself. Three additional panels were needed to complete the roof and the previous roofer would not tell us the color or create the panels for us so we matched the panels as best as we could to the existing. I made the decision to part ways with this customer because he continues to accept work and then weeks and months later claims he has concerns with it that I need to fix immediately. I can no longer continue the sudden bursts of profanity and insult laced text messages, phone calls, and voicemails received at all hours and all days of the week when one of these 'concerns' arises. It became very clear to me that my hard-working employees and I were not going to be able to satisfy this customer with any attempt to change material, colors, installation techniques, or to explain how the products used will live and breathe in our New England environment. Also, context missing from the above complaint; There is a balance remaining on our project due to me of $9,242.00. When we parted ways, I informed this customer I will not collect that amount and it is a more than substantial amount of funds to hire another contractor to address the three cosmetic issues he has reported here: three panels of a color not to the customers liking and one with damage of an unknown origin, and two pieces of crooked trim. There are no missing roof sections.

    Thank you

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

This business owner is a liar, and I am attaching pictures of the substandard work he is REFUSING to correct.  The attached pictures expose this man and his company for the poor workmanship.  It is the proof versus his lies about harassment, etc.   I am close to $100k into this atrocious work of his, and it is substandard and must be repaired ASAP before there is damage to the structure, and it must look professional which it does not.  There are still holes in the siding, metal roof panels mismatching, drip edges crooked and missing, etc. & etc.

He must refund me for the roof and part of the siding in the amount of $55,000 because he is incapable of doing decent, honest work.

The attached pics tell the whole story -- I was unable to add them all, but I can supply BBB et al. with the rest of them, and my other workers who are now redoing the work have even more damning pics I can gladly share.

The owner is a liar that refuses to man up and correct his subpar work.  He would rather lie and fight me, than do his work.

    Sincerely,

    Vas ***

I will not be refunding you $40,000.00 as you first requested or $55,000.00 as you are now requesting. Again, this work has now been in place for many, many months and through multiple seasons of weather. There is nothing here affecting the structural integrity of your home as it relates to your roof and siding nor have you provided any factual information to support these claims such as a report from a structural engineer. You were left ample funds of $9,242.00 to repair the cosmetic issues of the three roof panels of a color not to your liking and one with damage of an unknown origin, and two pieces of crooked trim. You have also cited in your many communications including this one, that you have multiple contractors from various trades working on your home both before we met and since we have parted ways. Here you have stated "...my other workers who are now redoing the work..." This makes it impossible to differentiate old work from new work, my work from another contractor's work, and existing conditions from created conditions. I am not indecent nor am I a liar, kindly stop saying these things.

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because this business is continuing to LIE.

The roof is absolutely botched, with mismatched panels, incorrectly installed drip edges, and atrocious siding work.   ANYONE can ascertain where United Roofing did their subpar work and original construction -- this company is run by a conman that refuses to perform industry standard work.

The NH DA office is reviewing these fraudulent communications now as well.

I am demanding a full refund for all metal roof work AND partial refund for siding that is now being repaired (brand new work being repaired = unreal) in the amount of $55,000.  I will also be requesting legal fees as we commence litigation if this business does not do the right thing ASAP.

    Sincerely,

PS I have copious photographic evidence, as do the painters showing the atrocious and unprofessional work performed by United Roofing.  This evidence is irrefutable, and the inane claim by the mendacious owner of this scam company is truly laughable: we will prove in a court of law the exact subpar quality of United Roofing as documented across over 50 high quality images showing mismatched metal panels, improper termination of drip edges, poorly installed siding, hazardous materials left scattered across the jobsite, etc & etc

We will be requesting payment of all legal fees and damages, plus the $55,000 refund for subpar work.

We have also retained the services of a very reputable NH builder that has assessed the poor work and will be redoing the metal roofing and siding.  ************ along with two other roofing companies will provide evidence that will show without a doubt that United Roofing scammed me with extremely unprofessional work that must be redone as per industry standards.

The only thing United Roofing performed on time was extracting payments constantly and then coming up with various lies and stalling tactics only to fire their ****** generous client after ruining his home.

Please refer to the previously submitted photo evidence as well as the Yelp review which is pending, but the images are now officially uploaded on Yelp which should help others not get ripped off by this scam company.

To United Roofing owner: see you in court scammer!
