    Darn /Good Yarn has the most exotic and amazing yarns! I bought the mega skeins of Frost Bite and it is to beautiful for words! The mega skeins of purple and pink are even more awesome with the dark grey color mixed in. I cant wait until I can start working with this yarn. My aunt will be so thrilled when she receives her homemade goodies made from this yarn. She deserves to wear lace and pearls but instead wears the dress of a farm wife. This will add a big touch of elegance for her. I dont care if she uses/wears the stuff around the house i kind of hope she does when she has no where to go. It does no good to be put away for good occasions. I believe everyone deserves to feel pretty and special and well loved.

    I ordered 2 items since 7/14/24 and so far, nothing. I have reached customer service but I get a canned response that means nothing. In the meantime they already charged my credit card . I have asked that I want to cancel and that’s not even acknowledged. As an idea is a cute one , but I will never buy anything from them. *******

    This is a great company that is very outward facing. This is evident in their business model: they empower women to earn livable wages, they hire disabled persons and veterans, they recycle fabrics and materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, and their customer service is such that customers like myself keep coming back more and more. They are quick to respond and make sure you love your order, or quick to respond to and correct any mistakes. The company has also built a global community vis social media groups. I would love to visit a store in person, but for now will have to settle for the online presence. I have no complaints about products I've ordered from Darn Good Yarn!

    Beautiful business model!!! I've been a customer on the clothing side of this business and I am continually impressed with the stunning fabrics, designs and quality of the items purchased. Their customer service is top notch and highly responsive. They have amassed a loyal customer base who engage in forums and chats every day concerning products, styling choices, etc. I am happy to have discovered this original and female focused business! ** ****

    I purchased five skirts from Darn Good Yarn when they ran their annual sale. The length I wanted was out of stock so I ordered the maxi length, which were too long. The company’s service team quickly responded to my emails and generously offered to exchange my skirts with the length I originally wanted, honoring the sale price. It is refreshing to have a company be kind and personable.

    I bought the Mother’s Day package from darngood yarn and found the “gift” to be in gif table. The tea skirt has white stains/spots on it and the one side wasn’t sewed well and looks unfixable. The headband has stains. I do not know why the sari gift wrap has what appears to be black mold on it with assorted runs/snags. The green darngood bag it came with has a stains with small chunks on it(like chew tobacco spit). And this is a sale/clearance item so it is unreturnable. Since they are supposed to be made by women who need safe jobs and livable wages from Nepal, I did not expect them to be perfect, but I expected better than what I got. They were not described as returns or damaged. I did leave a review, but when I look to see it, it was not there and they have only positive reviews when there used to be reviews that were not good. I feel like got taken advantage of for them just to get rid of the returns/rejects- they should sell them as damaged/stained/some sort of warning. I think that they misrepresented the products they are selling. If they are selling a return they should represent it as such, to repackage as new item is fraudulent. Too bad I was unable to find them on BBB before now. Completely soured and without something for my mom, because I spent what credit I had on my credit card at darn good yarn.

    Hello, Ms. **** **** reached out to us about her concern and we informed her of the nature of the products we are selling and we also informed her that we will send her a return label so we can exchange the items but she has refused. We will provide the emails back and forth of what had transcribe as we think that her complaint should have been resolved but she was not cooperative. Thank you.

    I have had an unfortunate experience with Darn Good Yarn. Weeks ago I ordered several skirts made of recycled sari material. I had ordered from this company before and was very pleased with their products. I expected to receive my package within just a couple of weeks. After more than a month and a half had past by my expected delivery date, I began to become worried something had happened to my order. I still waited to give the company time and the benefit of the doubt that my order would be delivered. I searched through my email to discover a message that it had been delivered even though no one in my household had seen the package. The date of delivery was a time that I was home. Concerned, I emailed the company. They reached out to the carrier who insisted they had delivered the package in reference to their GPS tracking. Still I argued no package had been delivered and I would like this to be made right. They said the time for making a claim had passed. All they offered was a $10 coupon after I had spent over $100. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service.

    Hello, We apologized for the resolution. The order was placed the order in June and it was delivered however it took her more than 3 months to reach out and file a complaint which is outside our 60 days policy. We believe that a $10 coupon is NOT fair for the customer so we will be reaching out to her to see if she is still willing to receive a replacement. Unfortunately, the customer service representative who assisted her was new and was not able to provide proper assistance. We apologize for the experience. DGY Customer Service Team

    I responded to a text link that stated “30% off the entire site!” use this code. There was little to choose from but I found some yarn I liked. The code didn't work. I texted with a customer service person and it took them over two hrs to let me know that my item wasn't included in the sale. What? That's false advertising - which is illegal. Secondly, the person had me use an alternate link so I closed my first page which was a shopping cart. Later that evening I realized that a sale had gone through at full price. Nearly $200. And going to the wrong address and state. I never approved or confirmed an order. So then I had to deal with cancelling that as well. I was assured that my order had been cancelled. However it has been a week and the charge is still on my credit card. It was never reversed. I had been a pretty happy customer of this company for several years and had referred some friends to it as well, but they will never receive another order from me. I will be telling people to steer clear it's a shame because I had liked their support of helping women in India. But I was treated poorly and misled and my time was very much wasted. I received an insincere apology, but no offer to make anything right. And they still owe me for the canceled order.

    Hi, The customer has placed the order herself with her own details, shipping address, and payment information. There's no way for us to automate an order. A live person must be completing a purchase manually so her claim about the wrong address is on hers. Typically, this happens when they have a ************** account and use different addresses (such as gift orders), or old addresses that have not been updated before placing a new order in any e-Commerce store. Also, the 30% off was for DGY products only as stated in the promo ad. The customer placed an order for a non-DGY yarn. Lastly, she reached out in time to request a cancellation of her order and we have cancelled and refunded it on 2/22/23 at 1:26 PM EDT yet she submitted this review a day after. DGY Team
