    Business used to be in pristine condition about 20 years ago. This is no longer the case. They seem understaffed and have had to call old retired employees to serve their guests. After seeing negative reviews about the business online, we decided to cancel our stay there. We had trouble getting a full refund and were only able to have our money returned when we brought up an online review that showed bed bugs, which was a huge reason we decided to cancel our stay. Please save your money and avoid this dump.

    ***** ********* has never stayed at Adventure Suites. She did call to make a reservation in one of economy suites. A computer glitch caused her to be accidentally charged twice, and we rectified it immediately. But this was not good enough for Ms. *********, she decided she needed compensation for someone making a mistake. We appeased her and gave her a $40 add-on at no additional charge. She was marginally happy, but still wanted more. So when she decided to cancel she made it very clear that she should not have to pay any cancellation fee. Again we made an exception for her and waived the cancellation fee. But this was not good enough for Ms. *********. She decided it was appropriate to call local and state authorities and try to have us shut down. I certainly hope no one ever makes a mistake with this lady again because the after effects and perpetrated revenge is absolutely viscous. I have never experienced a more vindictive person than Ms. ********* in the 25 years that I have owned Adventure Suites. Hopefully she has gotten it out of her system and we can go our separate ways.

    I'm sorry you're not happy about the truth about your hotel that people have stated on Yelp where people have posted pictures of bed bugs. But this information needed to be known to the public. It's true I have never stayed here, but what difference does it make? This entire experience was a downward spiral from the beginning when I made the reservation with this hotel. When I was accidentally double charged by Jan she told me that she would add the suite petite package and sparkling cider package to our room free of charge. When I spoke with Kat late in the week, she confirmed that would not be happening and she offered $40 off of our stay which I happily accepted. It wasn't until the weekend that we saw the horrifying review on Yelp with the information about how horrible the guests were treated, along with photos and videos of bed bugs provided. When wanting to cancel this reservation based on those findings, Kat was very rude to me and argued with me about the hotel's cancellation policy. Cancellation policy or not, if you have a report about bed bugs that happens two weeks before we're staying, that should be null and void. She stated it was an isolated situation with the bed bugs but that was not enough to make me change my mind about the situation. Where you see me as vindictive, I am nothing but a truth-teller. I let the health inspector know because North Conway is a popular vacation destination, especially this time of year, and if people are spending a lot of money, they desire to be spending it in a nice, kind, wholesome environment. Nobody deserves to be treated so poorly while staying in rooms ridden with bed bugs. All I did was bring up previous information from a Yelp review, adding in my own unfortunate experience with the staff. I have nothing further left to say.
