  This was the most worst experience I have ever had with any business. The paving on our driveway is fine, but the experience has been an ordeal. There was no written estimate or work date. Five weeks went by with no contact after the consultation. The crew showed up without any notice and were disruptive while I worked from home. There were multiple incidents with neighbors; damage to a car, driving over new grass seed, and an aggressive confrontation about damage to political signs on our front yard. Loose asphalt was on our front stairs, large chunks of old driveway left behind, and our brick border damaged. Sand and other materials was dumped on our yard ruining new grass seed from the town after recent water main work. In a call with the crew leader I was told my neighbors were lying- our signs had been carefully moved out of the way by the company owner. I have photos that show them ripped and shoved into our front hedges. We wanted to resolve this with the company before leaving a poor review. The very helpful secretary connected us with someone who gave us a call. He he denied the damage, but he offered to come by and talk it over and maybe reduce the outstanding invoice. However, when he arrived it was clear he was not there to make things right, he was there to collect. He wrote up an invoice on the spot for $5000 and asked for a check- quite a big ask for a family who had no notice of the final amount in advance. I let him know I would move some money around that night and get a check out in the morning- which we did. Shockingly, two weeks later we are then told the payment wasn't received. I sent confirmation from my bank and got back a voicemail accusing me of lying about sending the first check. A second check and second confirmation was sent. I expect this will be the last I ever deal with New England Paving. They should stick to town contracts because the customer service is beyond unprofessional- they are downright rude and insulting.

  Amazing company from the top down. Words cannot express the outstanding experience it was working with Sammy and his entire crew. They exceeded my expectations and did an outstanding job.
