I moved into the landings in April 2016. Prior to moving in my apartment that was used as a showing. Someone broke into it left cigarette ***** in the carpet the sink and broken bottles of glass. I had a rat issue. The land keeper came once to evaluate my dryer that was not properly vented outside which was a fire hazard. There were uneven cabinets on the wall and holes in them in the kitchen area these holes in some of them led down into the floor. My neighbor told us a ********* tried to lure her child in his apartment. I was warned on letting my children play outside. And I was directly across from drug dealers and addicts. I had to move out abruptly due to a domestic matter which was understood and legally processed. We cleaned the unit completely it was in better condition than when I moved in. They however charged me ***** of damage and other fees including leftover rent which in my receipt only accumulated *****. This was false and never rectified though I disputed it with the property. They charge fees for everything pool passes, visitor passes, monthly fees etc. I had no idea at the time, but the property was infamous for doing these practices with vulnerable tenants of whom could not get approved for rent elsewhere due to credit checks, inflation and income being three times higher than rent policies. They prey on low-income families and residents. I was contacted that same year from a law firm in ******* that was investigating them on these practices however we lost contact before further actions could be taken.I now have on my credit report over ***** in debt and collections due to their refusal to make it right and correct there false billing and credit reporting's. In addition, I want to mention that a new tenant was able to move in the unit and utilize utilities in my name accumulating over $200 in energy bills before officially correcting the name of who now occupied the unit. my credit reflects delinquency public records due to all this!
