1 starThis review is regarding the property located at ****************************************************. We made a reservation through ******* for 3 nights from Friday, Sept 6th to Monday, Sept 9th of 2024. This was supposed to be a quick getaway weekend for my wife and me. Right before our trip, we had an unfortunate incident of kitchen fire at our house on Tuesday night, the 3rd. As we were trying to coordinate with insurance to get approved for cleanup, claims etc. we did not realize that the hotel has a 48-hour cancellation policy. When we contacted ******* on Wednesday night (44 hrs. before check-in), we were told that since this is an exception request, we will need approval from the hotel to waive the cancellation fee. My wife spent hours on Thursday morning over the phone between speaking with multiple folks at the hotel as well as Expedia. Everyone assured us that the fee will be waived because this is an unforeseen emergency. ******* advised us to cancel the reservation with the penalty fee and that they will create a service request with Harrahs for ********* the middle of all this, I got tested positive for Covid on Friday. Was just a very rough week and all we needed was to receive some empathy from the hotel, because we were struggling. We provided proof of our insurance claim to the hotel via email as well. Even after doing so, Harrahs rejected our claim and did not refund back the cancellation fee amounting to 140 USD.I am not angry; but definitely disappointed that I chose a hotel property that prioritizes rules/restrictions and money over basic human decency. A lot of folks in my inner circle mentioned about their negative experiences with this specific property; when they learned about our situation. Hence, I am writing this review to make folks aware of this business. We for sure will stay away from booking this hotel again.Review fromDavid M

1 starAwful place. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The music has been blasting outside our suite area by The pool deck and they refused to lower the music even thought it was late into the night. Never ever stay here. No customer service. When I asked to lower it they said the owner wants it even if ppl cant sleep. Insane. 3k down the drainReview fromMarvin G

1 starIf I could assign negative stars I would. I deposited funds more than a year ago when I planned a trip to **. I was unable to access funds while in **, so I requested a withdrawal. It has now been a year and with dozens of correspondences and promises made and unkept by ******** Casino of **... I still ahve not received my money. It is criminal and I reported to the gaming commission in **, who is apparntly so corrupt, they could care less. WHat is even moer unbelievable is I have thousands of interactions with ******* and am a Diamond ***************** member... but the people in ** apparently do not care at all. Their purposeful and deceitful actions to keep my money and not allow withdrawal are nothing less than criminal at this point. But apparently no one in ** will stand up to them as a consumer advocate. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ** for any stays and will NEVER again visit ************* (AND WILL WARN EVERYONE I CAN) ... it remains, without a doubt, the most corrupt place in *******.Review fromJohn A W

1 starGood evening, I have a complaint about the room Im in on 03/04/24 . When I checked in I informed them that I reserved a non-smoking room in the middle of February and apparently the front desk could not accommodate me so Im stuck in a smoking room or I wouldnt be in a room for my stay. I asked for some sort of compensation for my aggravation since I have asthma slightly but they refused. That didn't seem right or fair since I purposely requested a non-smoking room. The manager said they had no other rooms available until 03/05/24 at night. I accepted the room switch when they called me in the room at 7 pm that night since I could not take another night in that room. Then they switched me into a room that was conjoining (they never told me that) and next to a bunch of kids. I understand that they were going to be noisy but this was going on until at least 1030 when I finally fell asleep since I needed to be up early to take meds. I called security multiple times for them to come up and ask them to stop making so much noise. I even went to the room next door to let them to quiet down and they just got louder.Review fromAlissa D

1 starIll preface this review with the fact that we were basically forced to stay at this hotel as it was a stay and play event for my daughters volleyball team. In order for the team to register in the tournament, they had to show proof of certain number of hotel reservations. The Hotel was absolutely disgusting and not kid friendly. Our initial room looked like a crime scene. Broken furniture, stained walls, cigarette ***** in the carpet. The last straw was when I peeled back layers of sheets to find throw up splattered and soaked into the mattress. Had I not peeled back the top layers of bedding my child would have slept on this! Disgusting, unacceptable. This went way beyond a training issue for housekeeping. This was a blatant disregard for the health and safety of guests.Front desk was rude and unaccommodating. They refused to let us speak with a a manager or change our room, stating they had no rooms available. Instead we were told they would send housekeeping to clean our room. No thanks! We did eventually get a room change but not without a lengthy fight. And that room wasnt great either. Crumbs and whole pretzels in the bed. Traveler beware. Check under all layers of bedding and do not stay in room 637 in the coastal tower!Review fromJordan B
