  Beware! This company will find every possible way to not cover your claim. I had a plumber come out to tell me he cant do the work and will need to go through the roof to unclog my sewer drain which is not covered. I asked if he could snake through some other way and he kept saying its not covered. If everything in the house was inspected and passed (we just recently moved in) then the problems that occur should be covered.

  Submitted a claim for an off-balance HVAC blower motor (bearing going out)...got denied as "not due to normal ************* Had our licensed **** company who does our semi-annual maintenance confirm this was due to normal wear/tear. Every HVAC blower motor would eventually wear a bearing out. Elevated the claim for higher level review with a letter from our technician and still got denied. Recommend going with another company. What good is a warranty if they don't pay out legitimate claims?

  Horrible, paid for a 5 year policy and put in 2 service calls in which never were addressed. The company does not have service providers to do service calls. They close your claim and never provide service and tell you to pay the service provider out of pocket. They may reimburse you but it doesnt happen. They have you sign and pay a contract, can hold their end of the contract then want to charge you for the cancellation of the contract. Again, they have not been able to provide service for any claim I put in. How many people are they taking money from and are doing the same thing? Choice Warranty is a scam.

  What a useless, rude, and unhelpful company. Do not use these guys if you care about your home. They will look for any excuse not to cover, calling issues "pre-existing conditions". Absurd.

  AWFUL SCAM - STAY AWAY!I wish I read all of the ****************** against Choice Home Warranty prior to prepaying for a year!I never had anything covered, even though I was promised by sales person that these would be and added coverage for other issues.Then after receiving about 15 calls to renew & saying I wanted to cancel, the renewal was withdrawn from my bank!!! 100% illegally!Do yourself a favor and stay away!THERES GOOD REASIN THEY'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL COVERAGE IN CERTAIN STATES!

  I was in the process of signing up with Chioce Home Warranty and gave **** my credit card number. I was interested in paying by the month but **** tried to pressure me into paying 6 years upfront for much better terms. I told him I wasnt interested. Then he tried to get me to pay 3.5 years upfront for better terms. Again, I told him not interested. Then he put me on hold to ask his manager if I could get an even better deal if I paid the 3.5 years upfront. SO FAKE!!! I told him I didnt like the way he does business but told him that Id have to talk to my wife. He said hed wait. I told him she was in the shower and Id call him back. He didnt even give me time to talk to my wife and called me back first. While I was waiting for my wife to get out of the shower I just happened to check my bank account and noticed **** charged my card $798 without my permission. When I confronted him about the charge he said, Wellyou gave me your credit card number. I told him I never gave him permission to charge my card and I wanted him to refund my money. Then It was like a big argument and I was redirected to someone else and they told me Id get my money back within 30 days. 30 days? Youre kidding! Right? Then it was multi phone calls, lots of my time on hold, more people trying to save the deal with better terms. ***!!! I just want my money back! So FINALLY, after many phone calls, lots of time on hold and THREE DAYS LATER, I got my refund. Never Again Choice! Worst Experience EVER!!! And ****? He wanted to call me names but didnt want to get in trouble so he just told me to never call him again! LOL No Worries ****! You wont have to worry about that

  CHW subjected us to a 45 day ordeal including 5 service calls and an attempted 6th after ** said our GE washer was unrepairable and then offered us $200 to fund replacement of a $700 washer. We are seniors and part of their repair resulted in water damage and mold in our ceiling effecting my wife:s autoimmune disease. A thoroughly disgusting response to a bad situation. I intend filing a lawsuit in ******* to join the one in *******. I have been treated as a 2nd class citizens before but never to this degree.
