I ordered a 2009 Forester X limited 2.5L stainless steel resonator Muffler Exhaust system kit from ****. It cost $432.45 and was supposed to come with all the correct bolts, and gaskets to properly install the system in my vehicle. As I am not a mechanic, I left everything in the box and brought it to my local body shop. The mechanic informed me that the wrong gaskets were sent and cheap spring bolt kit with bolts that snapped upon 1st tightening. The mechanic supplied correct gaskets and replaced the spring bolt kit to complete the job.I reached out via email asking for a refund for the additional parts that the mechanic needed to supply to complete the exhaust kit installation correctly totalling $75. After 13 back and forth emails of me explaining the same thing and only asking for a refund of the incorrect parts that were sent by **** and they were still unwilling to make their mistake right.Called today 9/1/22, was placed in contact with the same customer service representative who was unhelpful, spoke with her manager who at first would not provide his name and got the same message. Even though they sent the wrong gaskets and cheap spring bolt kit they would only offer 20% refund of the cost of parts that the mechanic needed to supply to correct their mistake.Left a poor review on ****** around 9/5/22. They responded and asked me to call their main number to resolve the situation. Called on 9/6/22. They said the manager stepped away but would call me back. It's now been over a week without a response.
