I purchased a large farm table in 1/14/2022. It took well over 8 months for it to be delivered(well past the 2-3 month projection). We paid in full plus delivery charges($925). Only having the table 1 month, it started to fall apart. Wood was splitting at the seams as well as the planks. I was told how to fix it myself, which was impossible, I did not have tools to fix the mess. After making a negative google review and going back and forth with them, they agreed to make me a new table top. However, it became excuse after excuse why they could not complete the table top. Lack of workers, covid, other projects to be completed. They would give a date of competition and the date would pass with no word from them, I would have to reach out. I have multiple messages with them via Facebook Messenger. This went on for almost a year and 1/2. Earlier this year(4/24) they blamed my home stating that was the reason for the wood splitting and were afraid it would happen again, so they were going to send me samples of wood. That was never a option earlier or mentioned, and I explained to them 80% of my home is custom furniture and I have never had a problem before. After the last conversation with them, I expressed I should have contacted my credit card earlier as now I have exceeded the time limits. They have since blocked me from social media, will Not take my messages and will not take my messages.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a custom dog crate end of Feb '24 and was given a timeline of 4-6 weeks for completion. Full payment was requested, we ended up giving a 60% deposit via ***** business. On March 18th they said it would be ready the first week of April. On April 11 they said first week of May. On May 6 it was clear they had not begun work on this piece, requesting pictures of our design. On May 13 they said it would be ready next week. On May 20th that said they were in operational crisis and had no update for me. Every time a deadline approached I would reach out for an update and was given some new reason for a delay - other projects, obstacles, operational crisis. I then requested a refund and was told a refund wasn't possible and I should file a dispute through *****. This company is scamming people by taking new orders with no plan to fulfill them and leaving it to ***** to pay people back while they spend our money on who knows what. They should be investigated and shut down.Initial Complaint

We order tables and chairs and a buffet in July of last year. we were told we would receive our order in September/October and never received it. after reaching out to them they told us they were backed up and it would be delivered in January. January rolled around and still nothing. after reaching back out they gave us a hard date for delivery of the week of March 5th. that week came and went with no word. we just received an email yesterday saying that they lost the lease on their building and that they would not be able to fulfill our order and that their Venmo account has been suspended and they can not refund us our money. that we have to go through ***** and put in a dispute. My wife and I just want our money back.Initial Complaint

On 1/15/24 I purchased a 70" TV stand that would be made by Little Rustic Shop and since it was a custom made piece they required payment in full $625 under order # **** and would take approx. 13 to 15 weeks. I started to check progress in April and kept getting its being worked on. In May started to check on progress. On May 13 Tori Garwood, Operations Manager, tells me "targeting completion for end of week". When I called the following week I was told they had operational problems and cannot give me information on the piece. On June 12 I received and email informing me that "Due to unforeseen circumstances and operational crisis we will not be able to fulfill your order. We do not have the ability to refund you due to our account being frozen however we have had customers file a dispute with ***** and receive their money back. If this is the route you choose to go we understand and will accept it we at least have the ability to do that." After 21 weeks this is what I am told. I cannot believe they can do this and not return my money. I would like my money back . Thank you ****** ***********Initial Complaint

We ordered an island from this company on May 24, 2024.It was supposed to be done in a week. They called and said there was abump in the road and it would be ready in 1 week. Called again and said they are waiting for the hardware and it would be done in another week.Today 6/9/2024 I was told they are going bankrupt and there lawyers will be in touch with me. They said they cannot give me my monet back. I payed them $1350.00. I can't believe they didn't know this when I ordered it. Torre said they had a lease for 3-5 years and are being evicted because the owner was sick of waiting for his rent. What can I do. They took my money knowing they could not complete my order.I feel like it was fraud.Initial Complaint

Their web site specifically says their chairs are:"hand made" and like "store bought" chairs. I discovered that the chairs are made in various Asian countries--specifically ******** and *****. I called to try to rectify, and they ignored me and stopped taking my calls of answering email.Initial Complaint

In December of 2023 I purchased a kitchen island from Tori at Little Rustic Shop in the amount of $1102.50. The expected delivery was 8-10 weeks (approx the end of February 2024). At this time, I still do not have the kitchen island and the company cannot promise it will ever be completed. The company asked me to pay with Venmo and they will not provide a refund or return the money I sent them on 12/13/2023 at 10:29am. My goal would be to get the item I ordered. If not, my money back. But most importantly, I do not want this to happen to another member of the community.Initial Complaint

We ordered a table with Little Rustic shop on 8/23/24. We were told it would be ready 3 weeks from date of payment. Gave our $450 deposit. Decided to order 8 chairs to go with table on or around 9/11/24. Was asked to pay in full $1258. We paid it. After 3 additional weeks of waiting, we never heard from them, so we followed up only to find out the dining set was not ready. From that day on, it had been extended date, after extended date, excuse after excuse,horrible lack of communication until we reach out. Each and every time our date is extended. It is now 5/21/24. The last email we received on April 29th said it will be ready in 2-3 weeks. Have not heard from them at all and do not have the table or chairs after 9 months of waiting and now we are exploring recovery options for the $1708 they have of our money and refuse to refund for NO GOOD REASON. When we tried to dispute this transaction, it is clear they are scamming people out of their money. We are so upset and need that money!!!Initial Complaint

Payed this business via ***** $1,547 for a dinning room table to be built January 21, 2024. Was given an estimated completion of Mid March 2024. Upgraded desired table legs February 8, 2024 for $200 via *****, with same estimated completion date. March comes around and the business owner continually makes excuses as to why table is not completed and pushes back delivery date weekly. April 29, 2024- still have not received the table. Filed for refund on *****, notified owner to cancel and refund order- he did not respond. ***** declined the refund because the owner uploaded false documents showing a tracking number and delivery that was edited so he would not have to reimburse me. The tracking number is fake and was never provided to me, only uploaded to the dispute on *****. Escalated the issue with ***** and will take civil action if I’m not reimbursed. This company has countless bad reviews for the exact same reason and some people aren’t getting their money back at all. This company is literally robbing and blocking people. They need to be investigated and shut down. Attached are screenshots of conversations with the company on Facebook marketplace. I purchased a custom dining room table and buffet in May 2022. I was told it would take 10-12 weeks to fulfill my order. I had to follow-up multiple times with multiple reschedules. I finally got my ordered delivered in February 2023. The table was the incorrect height and neither the table or buffet was quality product. The table had removable extensions that were unsturdy, the table top began to separate, and the buffet doors were made with plywood and did not stain appropriately. We went back and forth for months but finally agreed on how to correct my complaints in August 2023. I was told 3 weeks for the corrected products. Again, after multiple follow-ups and reschedules, I sent my final email on 10/31/2023. I told them they had until the end of November to fulfill my requests or I would file a claim in small claims court. They NEVER responded to this email. Most of our conversations are documented in email. I attempted to dispute with my credit card but lost the dispute due to the fact that they were able to provide evidence of me signing and accepting delivery in May 2023. However, the evidence they provided was not the version I signed. I signed a version that stated they needed to correct the table height but that was not able to be retrieved. I asked for a refund multiple times which I was told no.
