I moved out from *****************(*************** ************ PA *****) four months ago, but the apartment still didn't return my security deposit(1250$-375$=875$). When I called the manager, she said "You can just sue us you can do anything you want". The manager (******?) is so rude. I am so so disappointed. I still keep the contract.Business Response

The tenants security deposit was sent out on time and returned to us. I was in touch with the tenant. They have since received their deposit, and this was resolved.

Negligent management and subsequent rent & fees increase - Rushmore management has failed to take adequate care of the facility - building 122 elevator has been broken for more than 2 years at this point. My dad has had a heart surgery and is weak, using the stairs multiple times a day is hard on his health and wellbeing - the building has not performed a pest control in the last 12 months. We have complained about roaches and tried fixing the problem ourselves but the issue still persists. They have not provided any solutions or listened to our concerns -from 10/19/23 - 10/19/27 the building was condemned by the city for not providing heat. Even after that they continue to not provide sufficient heat to units during the colder months. - They tried to implement a parking fee of $40 per car for outdoor parking even though they are not able to guarantee a designated spot - we have been living in this apartment since 11/1/2019 and over the last few years, management has been terrible and have also unjustifiably increased rent. We have always paid our rent on time and are good tenants - for next year's lease, they have added $250 'month to month' fee and without any prior communications and/or approval - they also increased utility from 85 to $175 even though they don't provide sufficient heat - they also increased the rent $2,310 to 2,425, again without any prior communications - our total monthly payment went up by $455, and they have also ignored my email or calls for any explanation or discussion - my ask is to be able to pay the rent that was agreed upon not increase it by 18.7% in one year, while not renovating or maintaining the property.Initial Complaint

I moved out of a Rushmore Management building in Philadelphia in May. I have not received my security deposit back despite the 30 day legal window to return my deposit having come and gone. I called roughly 20 times today to various numbers and extensions for their corporate office. As has been the case in the past no one ever picks up. I finally got someone the phone and she immediately transferred me to the line of someone who once again did not pick up without listening to why I was calling. I then called again and was rudely told she would pass the message along and have them call me back and then promptly hung up on without her taking any of my information. I have email several times and they have stopped responding entirely. I plan to file a lawsuit tomorrow with the Municipal court as they are now currently illegally withholding my deposit and refusing to be transparent or communicate with me about the situation at all.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to get in contact with my leasing office at *************** for several weeks. I have called dozens of times and left many VMs. No reply back to me. I have emailed to no reply. My security door has been broken for several months with no solution on the fix. The seals on all of my windows and sliding glass door are broken and waste my heating/cooling. The windows let in water on hard and heavy rain falls. My bathroom has mold. I stop by *************** on Mar 28 to ask to view an apartment but ******* told me to come back on Monday. I came back he showed me 1915-F a downstairs unit. Then he told me to go online and apply for it vI return. He said its yours Im calling him to have you approved. When I returned Wednesday he said he sold to someone else. He said my application fee will hold until another downstairs unit becomes available. I asked why did he do that. I have had the same mortgage company for 19 years It started with GMACI it has been sold 11 times to different companies And all they do is raise My mortgage payment and terms Every time they switch companies . I changed bank accounts and put in all the proper information yet they billed My last bank account which has incurred a $30.00 return charge and I now have a late payment charge from the leasing office. I've called them everyday for a week to ask why My rent hadn't been deducted from My bank account and was told not to worry. It will be taken care of which it wasn't. I've lived here for ****** years and have changed bank accounts 4 times and never had a problem till now. Hello, I have been a resident at ************** for 2 years now and have been being charged illegal water utility charges that are not in my lease since June 2022 . The regional manager ******** and the staffed have acknowledged this is not in my lease & for two years I have tried to reason with them about giving me a new lease stating Im responsible for paying these charges which they refused to do.It is has been noted that not everyone in the property does not pay this only a few residents besides myself which breaks fair housing regulations. ************** are not customer service friendly and ******** the regional manager is refusing to bring this issue to her manager. She insteads lies and says that Im rudely resident who doesnt pay their rent which is false. Im writing this review so cooperate can see this and reach out to me before this turns nasty. I have file a class act lawsuits with 10 other residents at the property because ******** was unwilling to work with any of ** on this matter. I have also looped in the attorney generals office who advices me to write this review .
