  The absolute worst place to live. From the management to the mold issues, to the decrepit pool, the excuses are endless. We bought a house and thankfully moved out, but unfortunately not everyone can do that. The price they pay for the conditions are despicable.

  Dont be fooled this is the absolute worst place to rent. Im not allowed enough characters to even touch on the number of problems I have had and Im only six months in. Simply just know - DO NOT Rent here.

  Im been with Rushmore Management and Rushmore Servicing since 2020. They continue to add fake escrow amount to my mortgage every month. None of my monthly payments is going toward mortgage. I have sent several messages with no response. I need to seek a professional regarding this issue.

  Worst. Been without heat for almost a week and there is no urgency to fix the problem. Talking about the heater is old and the part is coming from *****. With all the money you are getting what's wrong with putting in a new heater and stop patching up. It is gas we are dealing with. Just don't care about anything but money. I am a tenant in the ************ area. As of today 2/13/24 still no heat.

  Stay away. Rushmore management legitimately ruined my life. My tenancy at one of their properties was the absolute worst, most horrific living situation Ive ever been in from the day I moved in. Lets go down the list - absolutely filthy unit upon move in. I got mold poisoning from contaminated A/C units and was sick for weeks. Furthermore, because the electrical outlets were not wired properly, there was not enough power to supply the air conditioning and had NO COOLING for the hottest months of the year - July thru September. My apartment easily reached 85+ degrees on a good day and they refused to call an electrician for months because they didnt think there was an issue until I BEGGED. I had zero running water for several days due to a maintenance issue that they dragged their feet with. Literally not a DROP of water and they gave no warning. their drainage and plumbing systems were never in working order and it took them months to call a plumber in to fix my bathroom that was completely unusable. The building has several violations open with the city including not meeting fire code. Lastly - not even 2 months into my lease I got a mice infestation that they said they couldnt help with because they didnt have a credit card to book an exterminator with. As an extremely clean and tidy person, Ive never once had mice or any pest issues in my years of renting - and they came from several holes in the walls of my unit that they neglected to fill before I moved in. I begged and pleaded for help (as pest control was their responsibility in the lease) and nothing was done. I was forced to self vacate as I felt it was the only choice I had as I couldnt manage all these issues all in my own. They will force you to live in the depths of h*ll because they make too much money renting out UNINHABITABLE apartments and refuse to fix the basics. They set up their community and maintenance managers up for complete failure - a sad excuse for a business.

  I reside at Hickory **** Apts, which is managed by Rushmore Management and they are slum lords in every sense of the word!!!!! One of the property management staff verbally threatened my daughter on Friday and he had the nerve to call the police. We have resided on this property for 11 years, and never in my 60 years dealing with a property management company, have I ever experienced such reprehensible behavior from the staff. It is mice and ***** ridden through out the buildings. I have tried to contact the property management company, but seem to be getting voicemails where ever I turn. Honestly, there are almost more vacancies that actual tenants because the property and staff is horrible.

  I live in ************** in ********* ******* ***** which Rushmore manages from **********. I am primarily focused on the managers who work in the office where I am. The complex is doing a bunch of renovations around my apartment leaving nails, glass, and metal shards all over the place. I got a nail in my tire from this and the manager *********************** was informed and had the most disgusting and unprofessional demeanor I have ever encountered. Laughing in my face about my issue. She told me to send pictures to the email she provided to me and said for about two weeks she never got my email even the is constantly sending emails to me about updates to the apartment complex. I would like her reprimanded or fired. She cannot speak to people like she continues to do so.

  Rushmore management is a bad company to rent from they are very unprofessional and will violate your tenants rights and your lease agreement, as of today august 30th, 2023 Nobody gave me a 24 hour notice and when i talk to the property manager yesterday. I pacifically told her I wanted to be home when they came to fix the ** and etc, nobody told me that someone was coming today, i was scared out my sleep this morning because 2 males was in my house, remind you, me and my husband did not have any clothes on, and my baby was in her bed sleep, i videoed everything, so management did not announce their selves when they came into my apartment, while im on the phone with a officer another officer showed up at my door on behalf of Rushmore thinking that the police were on their side which they was not and the sergeant help me fill out a report and now im in the process of suing Rushmore management, not to mention ****************************** have violations, I have the papers that say what violations are on them, the new property manager is *****, which is through Rushmore management. She is very unprofessional and no help, this is a bad company do not rent also they will lie on there reviews when they respond back on ******

  If you enjoy mice infestations, dodging speeding vehicles in the parking lot from maintenance driving like maniacs, an overpriced apartment that is in constant need of repair, and dealing with new staff every week because of their high turnover rate... then this place is for you!We were welcomed into one of their apartments with the classic bait and switch technique. We paid the extra fee to have an "upgraded" unit and after signing the agreement and putting the money down told that unit was rented out earlier in the day and ended up with a gross, moldy and terrible unit. The kitchen hasn't been cleaned in lord only know how many years, The fridge door cant open all the way because its jammed into the corner, the cabinet doors are peeling and handles have dry rotted they're so old. The tiles in the bathroom are falling out of the wall. Half of the outlets don't work and there are ALWAYS mice dropping over everything. Do not recommend Rushmore Management!!! They'll lie to you and do whatever it takes to get your money then want nothing to do with you from then on out.
