Service shops should not do business with this company! they refuse to pay claims and that claim numbers expire after repairs are complete! repair facilities beware

I paid for extended warranty with American Dream, when I called to find out my coverage they took an unauthorized payment from my checking acct, an employee referred me to and outside "recovery company" because this company is being sued.; which means I paid for avc I cannot use. The current cost will be higher than planed because my car now has more miles and original warranty from manufacture warranty has since expired

What a waste of money! Truck in shop for 3 days waiting for them to approve repairs! 24-48 hour reply is BS. Why should I have to wait for their approval? I am going to have the work done regardless. But if they start the work before approval, warranty will not pay. I found that out last year when they refuse to pay a dime on a large repair. I’m a single person I work full-time, and I needed my vehicle. They said they could not reimburse me because they don’t issue checks. That is also BS so they are holding my truck hostage.

They are a HUGE scam! DO NOT get a policy through this company! I chose the month - month program for $109 month. The second payment that came out from my bank this company tried to withdraw $3924 (for full policy payment) instead of $109. My car broke down 2 days after the warranty was active. (after 30 days) Needed alternator replaced! claim # was denied saying "it was pre-existing damage". Not even a mechanic knows if a alternator is going to breakdown. Tried to call them back several time & now they are ignoring my calls & not responding to my voicemail.

Service stinks had to pay claim out of pocket and they are telling me that I won’t get my money for over a month. Every time I call them I get a different answer as to when I’ll be receiving my Check. They had no problem taking my monthly payments for their service!!!!!

Cargo van claim Claim ********* With my current experience, I’d noted a negative stars. I had the choice with many companies but was assured by American dream agent ***, their services were top tier. I soon found after my first small claim they are in the practice of “first deny until they keep trying “first claim was direct, and I was advised part wasn’t listed on coverage package (as if every screw, motor, seal, and motor part must be in a list. After becoming aggravated and escalating my claim it was finally paid. 2 weeks out and they cover approx 3-4 days max on rental vehicle. I excused it as error until I came into my next claim . The initial denial was due to “ part listed on non claimable “ upon sending in an invoice showing the parts named in the denial were not the parts listed on the invoice repair , calling for now 2 weeks , I’m told today it was reviewed by supervisor and denial remains . I requested reasoning for second denial , the young lady ( Erika ) advises she doesn’t know it was not noted . I have now come to the conclusion this company rating is sub par. I have several nice vehicles but failed to do real research on this comisny and for this reason I’m getting what I paid for. DO NOT BUY HERE , YOU WILL REGRET. I look forward to many more denial claims as my policy extended out fir quiet a while . The message heard about warranty companies denying claims with no merit , I’ve come to believe is true herel.

Terrible company!!! I would give ZERO STARS if I could. Supervisor ******* told me he doesn’t need any explanation from the ASE CERTIFIED mechanic they hire to inspect and diagnose my vehicle at another ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC SHOP. They accept a vague answer from their mechanic saying problem is pre-existing condition. Upon looking at other reviews there’s always an excuse from this company to deny any claim put into them. Even though receipts are provided of maintenance of the vehicle no warranty agreement honored by this company. The absolute worst customer service. Tried to retrieve my money back since I paid in full for the warranty. Was told I’m only getting back a prorated amount. and it’s my fault if I didn’t use the policy.

Horrible company! Scammers! They are no different than every other scam company out there! I purchased the PLATINUM plan back in August 2024. As of January 2025, I had paid them $2,840. I had one payment of $710 left in February. On January 22nd 2025, I brought my car in to Capital Transmission. They ran it through the machine and it came back with the code for a bad transmission, the "Nissan death code" as the shop manager stated. He stated that theirs no doubt you have a bad transmission. They sent an inspector who agreed it was a bad transmission. American Dream Auto Protect sent me an email, "After conducting a thorough inspection of your vehicle, we have determined that the [Transmission] requires a detailed teardown to accurately identify the cause of its failure. Unfortunately, this diagnostic process will need to be carried out at your own expense and will not be reimbursed.. This procedure is essential for us to pinpoint the exact issue and recommend the necessary repairs. We understand this might be an unexpected cost, but addressing this promptly will prevent further damage and ensure the continued reliability and safety of your vehicle. Please let us know how you would like to proceed, and we will be happy to assist you with the next steps. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation." WHY would I need to have my transmission torn apart?!? A bad transmission is a bad transmission, PERIOD! A clear example of them finding a way to get out of covering something that they CLAIM very clearly to cover. They refused to refund all of my money because I technically had the plan, which I couldn't actually use for what was needed. Plus, they charged me a fee for cancelling early. So, not only did I lose money from this program but I had to spend $5,800 on the new transmission. This company is a disgrace. Taking advantage of hard working people. ****

American Dream Warranty is the absolute worst company I have ever delt with. They will 100% cheat you out of your money. Do not go with them!! There are several other companies that will stand behind the warranty they provide. If I could give a 0 star rating I would! Complete scam!!
