FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. I would give zero stars if I could, and I wish I had checked their BBB rating before doing business with them. This company sent me dead Eastern Box Turtles...TWICE. I didn't know that Tortoise Town and CB Reptile are the SAME COMPANY (aka Next Generation Enterprises). I ordered from Tortoise Town first, which promises overnight delivery, but that didn't happen. The Eastern Box Turtles SHOWED UP DEAD (as in they baked to death on their way from ** to AZ), and when I asked for a REFUND, THEY SAID NO, but they would send me another set of turtles. Why would I want a company that failed the first time to send me more turtles? Meanwhile, I placed another order with CB Reptile for 2 Eastern Box Turtles. I didn't know at the time that they were the SAME COMPANY. These turtles also showed up dead, but this time I had the good sense to take their temperature. These turtles showed up several days after being ordered and were 105 DEGREES! The "cold pack" was 107 DEGREES! Same deal. Wouldn't give me my money back. I had to dispute it through my credit card company. These people actually claimed that I was a "thief" for wanting my money back because I accepted the "Terms and Conditions." Turns out the Terms and Conditions say, "We guarantee they will arrive alive," so it was easy for ***** to go to bat, and I got my money back. I have pictures and videos of all of this because I wanted to be able to show how terrible it was. It's just mean to send turtles a second time, knowing that they didn't show up alive the first time. Don't give them money because if something goes wrong, it's on you somehow, never mind the animals they ship.

Purchases 8/26. Per website was to process 08/27 and ship same day and delivery would be 08/29. Run around from the get go. Too hot and *** is running late. It will be a day or two. Then oh the animals are all on their way to ******* from ** and there is hurricane so next time week. If you cancel because we didnt fulfill our end we are keeping 20%. Then the biologist basically called me a liar even though I have copies of all of the diff versions of the story. Including his saying ** is the new location. Told them about their reviews and am assuming that is part of what Im lying about. Too bad anyone searching can find them and see where they blame everyone else for tortoises dying or getting the wrong animal. The common denominator is them though. Now no one is replying to my emails. Having to dispute with my credit card company

This company uses the name Reptiles.com. Using stolen photos, one is mine. Another belongs to another breeder that confirmed hers is in there.

This company is also CB Reptiles. If you go on ******* and search their videos they turn comments off. They know what they do. They sent me a very sick lizard, didn't refund. me. Forgot the vet bills etc. It was hurtful watching it die along with the next one it infected and she died Saturday 3/11/23. They will say things like their reptiles are tested by biologist. It's all a lie. I have videos of them with their reptiles all together, big no no because of parasites. It is so sad. They hurt me and my child. We lost two geckos to their negligence.

In December of 2021, my husband gave me a juvenile ********** Star Tortoise. When she (********) arrived she was tiny, way less than 4 inches in diameter (which is ILLEGAL in many states), her eyes were a suspicious & scary shade of green and she was overall lethargic. After a few days of reading & researching everything we could possibly do to aid in her survival, we felt with certainty we were raising her correctly= the correct heat/humidity in her environment, a clean habitat, the best ****************** we could buy. Unfortunately, only a couple of months later she died of a respiratory infection and Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD), which our exotic veterinarian stated she had both upon her arrival. When our vet examined her lifeless body, she had dried liquid around her eyes and mouth and an extremely soft, sponge-like shell. ****** did not have a chance from the beginning of her precious life and this makes me sick.Tortoise Town should not be in business & should be shut down. They are BEYOND UNETHICAL.Do not buy from them. They do not care about any of the animals bred and only want to take your money.From someone that is completely heartbroken, dreamed of a having a pet tortoise for years and will not be able to live out my life with ******.... Please do not buy from Tortoise Town,You too will be heartbroken.Finally, I will not stop with BBB. I am contacting the *************** ASPCA and any other animal advocate I can make contact with.May my ****** Girl forever Rest In Peace~BTW she has a sister, *****, from Tortoise Town as well, one month younger. She is still very unhealthy and we see our exotic vet often~Please pray for her survival, *** **As stated on their website, we did not purchase either ****** or ***** for educational purposes (allowing them to be purchased & shipped while way under 4 inches in diameter) so therefore, we should have never received either of our precious torts**

Ordered a well-started baby sulcata from them. Never got a confirmation email for the original purchase and had to reach out via email and three phone calls before any response. They sent us an already deceased hatchling who was UNDER 4 inches (illegal in **) and was leaking from the mouth/neck and stiff. We complained to them and wanted a full refund. Have been arguing with them for over a week as they just want to send us a replacement. Do NOT purchase from them, please purchase from a reputable breeder who cares. This tortoise did not just die from the transit, he never had a chance! He was soft-shelled and obviously not going to make it through transit. He was also NOT purchased for educational purposes, rather as a pet even though they try to dance around that language. Horrible customer service and they do NOT treat their pets well if they are shipping out these poor things!

Do NOT buy any animals from this company! We ordered (and paid for) a yearling Greek Tortoise from Tortoise Town. When the tortoise did not arrive on the scheduled delivery date, our inquiries as to the cause of the delay were met with rudeness and we were told that the tortoise would arrive when it arrives. We did receive the tortoise (days later) but a couple of weeks after receiving it, the tortoise became very ill. We dried getting in touch with Tortoise Town for days, multiple calls and emails but got no response. We eventually did receive an email from them asking what the temperature of the tortoise enclosure was (we followed their directions to the *** but after our response they were never heard from again, despite numerous attempts from our side to reach them. We took the tortoise to the vet and to our horror we were told the following: a) It was NOT a Greek Tortoise as we were led to believe; b) The tortoise was at least 5 years old, if not older (not the yearling as ordered) and c) The tortoise was more than likely taken from the wild! Unfortunately, the poor tortoise died the next day. Had i done my research properly before buying from Tortoise Town, I would have learned that Tortoise Town is famous for doing this. Subsequently, after reading multiple online reviews and forums, I found that hundreds of people have had the same experience as me. In many cases people received dead animals, with Tortoise Town refusing to issue refunds. I am not even concerned about losing the money (over $700), but as an animal lover I am appalled that companies deal with these poor animals as if they were objects, subjecting them to cruelty and suffering and they should not be allowed to get away with this. Anyone looking to buy a tortoise or other reptiles, please do your research as there are many reputable and ethical breeders out there that would be able to help you find healthy and humanely treated animals. Tortoise Town is NOT one of them.
