I purchased a brand new vehicle on September 14 2023 from Parkway Toyota in Englewood. I paid cash for the vehicle. At the point of payment I was informed that one of the keys was missing for the vehicle and that Toyota Corporate or the service department would get in touch with me regarding getting the replacement key. Despite this I took delivery of the vehicle. I have now learned that it will take 4-6 months to receive the missing key. The dealership and the salespersons including the managers were all aware of this issue prior to the point of sale but mentioned nothing. I certainly would never have purchased the vehicle with only one key. If I lose the key I would have to bear the cost of getting vehicle towed to a dealership to then purchase another key. Whats ironic is that the service department has keys for sale for my vehicle for $500 which I can pick up immediately. I even offered to pay for an additional key now as long as I was reimbursed when the key from Toyota Corporate showed up in 6 months time. The dealership said that there was nothing they could do to help. It is appalling that the dealership is knowingly selling vehicles with only one key and not telling customers that they wont receive their second key for about 6 months.Business response

*************** was informed of only getting one key at delivery as it came up at the time of delivery of his vehicle. Toyota is only sending one key with some vehicles due to supply shortages and has informed dealers they will be sending the additional key to the customer as quickly as possible. ************** is one of many customers nationwide that this has occured with.

My vehicle was serviced for a torque converter. At the time toyota did a software update. They did not have my address in the system and I did not receive the letter regarding the expiring date. Now they wont cover it.Business response

Good morning
We have researched this complaint and we have not found any record of this customer ever having visited ******************. It is a cutomers responsibility to update an address with Toyota motor company furthermore we as a dealership don't issue recalls the factory does so this matter is between the customer and ********************** ************** We did attempt to reach this customer but did not make contact.
Please re instate us in good standing, any other questions fell free to contact me.
