My saga with Quail Ridge Masonry continues. ********************* the owner agreed to do work on my pavers and create a new staircase for the front of my house. It turns out that after not wanting to get a permit to begin with, he didn't measure right on one of the steps and didn't show the town the footings. Now his voice mail is full and he won't call me back from a text. He promises the world and first doesn't show up and then obviously isn't standing by his work. The railings also cost $800 more than what I held back from him.

I paid Scott Gross the owner of Quail Ridge Masonry an initial cash deposit of $2,000 on June 9th, 2022 to repave my front steps and also realign the pavers on the front right side of my house. The whole project was to cost $4600 and he wanted an initial deposit and additional money as the work was progressing. I asked him to give me an itemized bill which he said he would provide but never did. He did however text me that he received the $2000 initial deposit for my records. After months and months of lies, cancelations, endless excuses, I requested that he give me back my deposit and he responded that he already bought the material and will be by within a few days to complete the work. Finally 5 months later he came to realign my own pavers on the side of my house on November 7th. He only supplied the masonry sand. He said he had all the material to complete the steps and would get them done asap and asked for another deposit. Although I was hesitant, I gave him $1000 and told him he would get the balance once the job was done. Needless to say, it's now January 10, 2023 ( 7 months later) and he is MIA and will not return any of my calls. Please help, I am a hard working mom who is down $3000 . Be very cautious.! Do not do business with this company as they have no morals or values and just want to steal your hard working money.

On Friday, January 20th Scott G**** came to my house and returned my deposit back and we parted ways. As such, he has satisfied the complaint.
I am very grateful for the service the BBB provides and appreciate the intervention.

The owner of Quail Ridge Masonry told my wife and I that our patio would be done in two or three weeks. It's now over two months and the project isn't complete. Many times he tells us his workers will be over and either they don't show or show up for a brief time usually late in the afternoon.
