On Sunday 12/17/23, I was browsing the spark innovators website and looking at the hang hero took as a potential Christmas gift. There was no clear indicator of when it would ship (if it would arrive before Christmas) so I went through the checkout process to see if I would be given more shipping information. I was not, so I closed out of PayPal and did not click submit, buy, check out - none of it. I closed the window and moved on. Imagine my surprise when seeing an email from PayPal and spark innovators that I had approved the purchase. I immediately emailed customer service (within one hour) to request cancellation because it was a clear error and I had not purchased or approved. They responded the following morning that they could not cancel and it had already been shipped to me. What? I asked for a shipping label to refund and their service rep stated that they did not do refunds that way and that I would incur any postage fees for returning to sender and then they would process a return. This is ridiculous. How do I have proof that they will ever refund me? At this point it is not even about the $31 it is about the ethics of this company and the potential that their website is finishing orders automatically that were not approved by the buyer, and then making it that persons problem. I would like a paid shipping label to return the Items and a timeline for a refund or I would like a complete refund. Their practices are unacceptable.Business response

On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, I had received a Go Fan from a company called Sp;ark Innovators Corporation about a refund on a product that does not work. As soon as I used it to cool off my space, it stopped. It only cost $13.89 including tax. The product is defective because it was made in ***** and that is why I wish to get a refund of $13.89 refunded to me regarding a check from the company made out to me. Also I am complaining about Walmart.com from where I purchased the Go Fan. The as seen on television products are good and work well on television but as soon as you get them home they stop working. A company like Walmart.com and Spark Innovators Corporation should stop selling defective products from ***** because they are no good. I will no longer purchase products from As Seen of Television because they are no good. And I do mean "No Good".Business response

It has been one month since this company promised to replace the two hand warmers I purchased for my disabled husband. They promise to replace these units. This was the agreement we had with the better Business bureau. Where are the hand warmers promised because the original hand warmers failed to charge. Failed to charge in the middle of winter and failed as a Christmas gift. Shame on this country for promising two new hand warmers.Business response

I purchased a Go Fan from this company well over a month ago from a CVS in Pacific Palisades, **. The fan can work on a USB charger and supposedly is supposed to be able to charge a battery inside to make it portable for use off the "rechargeable" battery, only that the battery inside does not charge one iota. Emailed the company who said they'd send me another. They incorrectly labeled the fan for delivery to my P.O. box, which does accept *** packages yet I never got a new fan because their label was incorrect with ***. It's been well over a month and now the company is claiming I should just return it to CVS for a refund, only that it's beyond the ********************************************************************************************************* a replacement fan. I want my money back from the company. I am reading reviews of the fan online and literally hundreds of other people complaining about the exact same problem.
