I am constantly getting calls from TZ Insurance, so many that I have blocked their number. However each time they call my phone does ring once. I am not interested in their services. Today I tried to call and tell them to stop calling but was oon hold for over 6 minutes wasting my limited long distance services. I was searching for a supplemental ******** Insurance with better coverage than my current company. I spoke with "*****." Once I selected my policy he said, "Did I tell you there is a $25.00 fee?" "No." "I am sorry I usually do." I purchased Aetna. Today I received a voice message from ****** congratulating me on being approved for Accendo. I called and set on the phone for 26 minutes. Man I spoke with said that Accendo is a newer company with all the benefits of Aetna plus some additional ones. After I hung up I realized I wanted more info. including how they could switch companies without my consent. On hold for 3.5 I want to know precisely how the shift from Aetna to Ascendo benefits **** was on hold for three hours and 36 minutes. At 6:15 PST I realized that they were closed. They say their hours are from 8 AM-9 PM EST, so no one was going to answer my call but the message was going to repeat endlessly.Business Response

I apologize for the delay in responded to ****************' complaint and also apologize for any inconvenience and confusion this situation has caused. **************** has been in contact with our case management team, which has investigated the issue. Our case management lead confirmed today that Ms. ******* insurance carrier cancelled the policy in question and issued a refund for the premium and application fee paid. The insurance carrier indicated the cancellation and refund were processed on 1/6/23 and the refund check was scheduled to be mailed on 1/9/23. If **************** has not received the refund yet or has any other questions we encourage her to reach out to our case management team again.
Again, we offer our sincerest apologies for this experience. We also greatly appreciate ****************' patience as our team worked towards a resolution.

I began seeking supplemental insurance October 27th from ** agent *********************. I called ** in late November to check why Id not received my card. ***** called and said the underwriters needed more information. Id previously sent all I was asked to again send. My previous plan ended December 1st. Today ** called to say I was approved and would receive my cards in **** days. My wife is NOT approved because the underwriters need the same information I already sent twice a third time! The ** case manager knew little of the particulars but offered me the underwriting department phone number. I felt this their task to call me, but I called the number and it is no longer in service. I contacted the insurer directly and after 20 minutes on hold the person suggested I call customer service at ** **********************. All of this smacks of incompetence at all levels and we suffer the fall out by having no insurance coverage. I suggest people find a different solution other than **.Business Response

This company calls my home phone M-S, all day long, from early morning to late evening. They spoof their number by using a local area code number, even though theyre not a ** based company. I have repeatedly requested they stop calling me and and place me on their do not call list, all to no avail. They are now bordering on harassment, as the calls have continued, from **** calls daily. I have registered on the Federal Do Not Call Registry, but this has not helped as I continue to receive these marketing calls from this company, as well as others. I want these calls to stop. A woman who stated she was representing TZ Insurance Solutions telephoned me (my caller ID says she was using ************) desiring to connect me with one of the major insurance companies (like ETNA) for acquiring supplemental ******** insurance. I have been called by TZ Insurance previously - some weeks ago - without me asking. I told TZ then that I was not interested. I was on the Federal No Call Registry for sure at that time. I told the woman to place me on their company's no call list + I am on the ****************** no call lists. She said she would do so. She claimed that she was a licensed insurance agent but declined to give me her number - said she could not - a lie - except she most probably has no valid license to provide ( I have been told phony numbers by callers).TZ Insurance calling me is a violation of the Federal and the ******** no call laws according to the laws & rules I researched - they could / should be fined and I could *** them according to what I read in the Federal law. I have been receiving 10- 18 unwanted marketing calls Mon.-Fri. all summer long even though I have been on the Federal no call list for several years, and filing complaints.
