Good Evening, I have been having an issue with the service department of a car dealership - Raceway Nissan of Freehold. I brought my car to the dealership in March because the check engine light came on. I explained what the car was doing & instead of listening to me and doing what i had suggested to them, they kept the car for a week. they did not provide a rental car for me to use while the car was being fixed. After driving my car after having it for a week, they encountered the same proble i had and advised that a sensor needed to be unclogged and some additional fluids were needed. this bill came to $1584. i was back at the dealership on april 1st because the check engine light came on again. They had my car for 2 weeks & this time gave me a rental as i complained when they called me for a review of the services & was not kind. They couldn't find anything wrong with the car when they ran diagnostic tests again so they replaced the sensor that they unclogged 2 weeks prior which was $603. I was back for a third time 2 weeks later b/c of the check engine light. This time it was an after market part by the ignition that was not nissan made so it was not in sync with the computer in the car. This cost me $306. I was back at the dealership for a 4th time b/c of the check engine light. This time i was told that it was a part to the engine that needed to be replaced and this cost $1700. every time i went to Nissan i was assured that my car was going to be fixed & it was not. I filed a complaint with their consumer afairs department during my 3rd visit & spoke with a lady who provided a case # - ******** & she was of no help- i was told i needed to handle with the dealership. I have made 4 requests for the service manager to call me & to date he has not. I went back to dealership last week to see the general manager but he was n/a so i saw the sales manager who advised that i need to see the service manager who has not returned a phone call to me.

*******,  Im very sorry to read that you have had ongoing issues with your 2016 Nissan Rogue(is the car that comes up first in my system for you). Looking through your file I can see that each issue was completely separate and different repairs were made. While I know this is incredibly inconvenient (as well as costly) its not something we can control, especially with a vehicle of this age. Please reach out to ***********************, our service director, directly for any further questions. He will be out of the country 8/3-8/13. ************************************* is his direct email. Please let us know how we can further assist.

On Tuesday, October 31, 2023 I ******* ****** drove down to Raceway Nissan of freehold New Jersey to trade in my 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT all wheel drive for a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL 2.0T, the deal went excellent but I am unhappy with the vehicle because as I drove off a lot, I’m experiencing hesitation when accelerating shaking what I pull in my driveway as I apply small gas to the Excelerator my power steering is pulling to the right and left. Both my windows I have power windows on the driver side and passenger side. They do not fully go down. I have a small, scratch outside my windshield on the passenger side my interior lighting only one side works my auto stop start feature, which is designed to cut power to the engine to save fuel, but my auto stop start feature does not work also, my vehicle shakes when I apply a small pressure to the brakes before coming to a full stop so I would like my money back. and also would like to return this vehicle back to the dealership and get a new vehicle with no issues or problems. lastly, the dealership is playing around with my registration. They are telling me that I owe them $59.52 in order to obtain my registration knowing that when you purchase a new vehicle, the dealership are the ones who purchased the registration then they send it to you from the DMV and the only thing you have to pay for is the inspection so I want is my refund and this vehicle returned back to the dealership.
