    Battaglia Construction, aka ******** ********************** had a contract with us to complete a house raising and addition to our home at the beginning of March of 2022. Our initial date of completion with Certificate of Occupancy was October of 2022. As of August of 2023, Mr. ********************** received our letter stating that we no longer wanted him on the site of our home project as he was still about a month away of completion, and that is if he and his crew were to show up EVERY WEEKDAY FOR A MONTH. Mr. ********************** was 3/4 through completion and just never showed up, he would send one or two young, inexperienced workers one or two days a week to complete the work, they did an EXTREMELY inferior job, much of which needs to be redone. He had hundreds of excuses each week, some as lame as having to drive his wife to the airport, his truck broke down or was towed, (on numerous occasions), his worker was sick, (so he couldnt come???????), his sister-in-law was having surgery, etc. Excuses too numerous to list! We have had to put out our own money for materials that he didnt have credit to purchase. We had enough!!! I have had to have contractors come to look at the job for completion and have had numerous companies turn down the job because they dont want the liability to complete his shoddy work! I want to warn others BUYER BEWARE when hiring Battaglia Construction as he PROMISES THE ***** then doesnt complete the work.. He takes on more jobs then he can handle and does not complete the work. We have had a lawyer look into our contract and Mr. ********************** had noncompliance on so many different aspects of our contract that our only recourse would be to *** him for excess costs!
