    I bought a truck September 26th 5 days later the check engine light was on I went back to the dealership he sent me to his mechanic nine different times and the problem still wasn't fixed November 3rd he told me he was going to give me a loner because I needed to leave the car there overnight he never called me November 29th they called me saying they wanted my license plates back I told them no I wasn't giving it to him in December 6th and came and took my car and my car note was paid so they took my car illegally December 6th my brother called he was told that a manager will call him back in 30 minutes they never called them my fiance was calling and I was calling trying to get my things inside of the car called back December 12th they said the car was sent to an auction all my stuff is in the car and I want my money back and I want that car take it off of my credit and the bank was aware of the problems cuz I reached out to the bank they had me emailing them paperwork showing them that at the car had a lot of mechanical problems and they also did nothing

    On Sept. 9th I purchased a used 2012 Kia ******** (with 147k miles) from Payless Car Sales in Linden **. I paid $6800.00. I went to *** 2 weeks later. The *** told me the car had a lien on it. They purchased the car from auction, but it was repossessed. They didn't disclose that information to me and pleaded ignorance. They didn't know. They said they would take care of it. The first 30 day tag expired. Still no resolution. They told me they would get the required paperwork to resolve the issue. They gave me a second 30 -day tag. That one expired. Still no paperwork. Every week i call they tell me a day it will come, and that day comes and goes. They issue me an illegal 3rd tag but don't disclose it's illegal. So, my son drove around with an illegal tag placing him in lawful jeopardy. That illegal tag expired on Monday Dec the 4th. I call them and they say the 7th. Yesterday was the 7th and still no tags and now the car is sitting in my driveway collecting dust. After the 3rd tag expired I asked for a refund and got no response. I'm not a lawyer but it reeks of illegality and I don't know where else to turn to.

    On May 2. 2022. Payless Car Sales has no made an unauthorized charge on my account of $2000. I trusted him after the last complaint that your office handled to give him the new card nformation.. He told me the only way to make the adjustment was with the new card number. The letter in March your office sent did get him to adjust my account with the refund. In April he adjusted my account. I again gave him no authorization for this charge on my account. The Accojnt I am talking about Citibank Best Buy Credit Card. The ******************* is fiiling a Police Report against Payless.

    Regarding complaint issued by *********************

    We have contacted our credit card processor and looked through all transactions on and around May 2 and we can find no transaction on our system for a $2000 charge to ********************* as stated in the complaint.  Does the customer have any supporting docs to indicate this charge?  We have no indication any transaction has taken place since we refunded his card in April.  
    I have reached out to the customer directly but as of this writing he has not yet replied.
