      I purchased a vehicle from Toyota Universe and agree to a number. I signed all paperwork work at the number agree not realizing they added over 5k in products I didnt agree to. I went back to the dealership to fix this issue but I got an attitude from everyone there including ************ not willing to help. I just feel I wasnt treated fairly and they are not willing to help. Just money hungry. Trying to contact them but no answer

      11-15-2022 I purchased 2022 Toyota Corolla le from Toyota Universe *****************************************************************************. The problem I have with is with the contract which was done in finance office of this car dealer what have a problem is I don't want gap insurance which I was charged thousands dollars I didn't order three thousand dollars for a service contract.

      I bought a used car granted I was aware that the engine light was on but the employee from the dealership told me they were unable to see what the problem was and that they will sell me the car as is he then proceeded to tell me that their job is to make sure the car is safe to drive on the road and it is. This same day I took the car home I was on the highway and the car suddenly decelerated while driving it felt like it was stuck in neutral and did not want to increase in speed meanwhile a truck was behind me speeding down the road and I was unable to increase speed luckily there was a street corner to which I turned on my mother and I almost got into an accident due to the unsafe car.

      I went to Toyota universe 10/28/22 I they help me finance a car Toyota Corolla when i took the car home there was problems with getting the car insured i car my sale guy from the dealership he gave me a number to a insurance agent to help sent my info over to him no response so call back the dealership for help with the problem they informed me on 10/31/22 5:29pm to bring the car back to the dealership on 11/1/22 at 1pm, on 11/1/22 i brought the car back to the dealership they in person try to help with insurance they couldnt help so they told i will take the car back no problem i ask for confirmation that the car was returned to them they said the bank (Toyota financing) didnt send over any paperwork yet so i dont have to pay for anything then comes 11/7/22 i receive a billing statement form there bank for a car that they took from me saying have to still pay for it i call the bank they inform me that the dealership never let them know that they took the car back so that the contract could be voided i call back the dealership 2 week form the return date and they told me that the car is still mine (after having the car for 2 weeks) and they going to mark it as a repossession after telling i could bring the car back, No repossession was mentioned on 10/31/22 when they told me to return the car because they understood my problem

      10/29 Downpayment $2000 A car The dispute is we are trying to cancel and the business is stating they can't and we spoke to the financial institution which haven't received any documents as yet to cancel but they said the dealership has to cancel. The business refuses to cancel although we haven't received the vehicle. there is also paper work stating that we can cancel this agreement. The vehicle was not special ordered nor was it at the dealership when we tried to cancel but they refuse to cancel. Had us blindly sign documents and even though they say it can be cancelled they are refusing to cancel and threatening to drop the vehicle at our home.

      I'm filling out this complaint against the Toyota Universe car dealer in **********. I feel like I was ripped off by the salesman and the manager. I was looking to buy a car and I saw this ad on toyotauniverse.com. I saw the listing price of the Toyota highlander 2019 for $31,708 dollars. I called for an appointment on 09/08/2022. Once at the dealer, I saw the car and the salesman asked me about how much I was going to put down, I told him $18,000 dollars in cash. he went to talk to the manager and when he came back he told me that the price of the car had increased since I have ITIN number. My credit score was 750 and my wife 774. Then I told him my wife was going to buy the car, but he said that the credit that we had was not strong to buy a car and most likely she was not going to be accepted to finance the car, since we had not finance a car or a house before. I told him that my wife and I were going to buy the car together. he went to speak to his boss. After he told me that the price on the car was $40,727 plus taxes it would be $44,826.56. I was shocked that the price was so high. The manager misled me and deceived me. He told me that the price was higher because I had ITIN number, that our credit was not strong and banks do not want to take the risk of loan money to people who have not SSN. He told me it was a good deal, so, I signed without my wife being present. They asked me when my wife could go back to sign the papers since she was the co-buyer. I told them next Tuesday, but they did not wait, The manager sent the salesman to Brooklyn, so my wife could sign the papers. The salesman was distracting her and ******* her to sign the papers. she was not aware of what she was signing. we did not realize the total price of the car at that moment. That night we went through the documents and we realized the price was $57,555.36. They add extra fees and guarantees. I want a refund of at least $10,000 dollars. cust #******, deal #******, Stock#KS603843

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The person who reply the message did not fully understood the complaint. The car was supposed to cost $31,708  dollars, with tax it would be around $34.482.45. But the salesman and the manager overcharged me, I was ripped off. They charged me ****** plus taxes $4,099.56, they charged me $44,826.56. I was mislead and deceived. I put $18,000 dollars cash. I was supposed to finance probably around $22,000 dollars including the interest for the loan of the bank , but instead I financing ****** plus interest it comes to $39,000 dollars. 

      After putting down $18,000 dollars I have to pay $550 each month for 72 months. The total amount it is $39,600 dollars. This is ridiculous. It is a fraud. 
      That is why Im asking for a refund of $10,000 dollars.

      only pays ***** which is 550 x72 if he pays off sooner . It will not be *****

      I am complaining because of the price of the car

      I want you to understand this, the car's price was $31,708 dollars. I saw the listing on the website, that was the only reason I went to ********** to buy the car. 

      I understand that there are taxes and some fees, but when the salesman and the manager brought the paper work the price on the car was altered, to $40,727 dollars. in a matter of minutes the price went up $9,019 dollars, this is insane. it is ridiculous. now on top of those $40,727 dollars, you guys charge the tax $4,099.56 for taxes. the total cost of the car was now $44,826.56. on top of this fees and interest, giving a total of $57,555.36 dollars,  You said I only have to pay $39,600? how is this possible if I gave you a  $18,000 cash down payment. 

      The price on the car was altered, You guys overcharge me, I was ripped off, deceived and misled.

      I have taken my car to get serviced at this location on it's due dates. The last time was 7/27 for an oil change which I paid for. I went out of town for the weekend and on Saturday all of my dash lights went on and stated that there was low oil pressure. The following day I tried to get oil to come home and I was unable to return due to the car leaking all of the oil I had added. On Monday when I called Toyota they told me to take the car to a local mechanic so that I could return to ** and to their location and the local mechanic showed me what Toyota's mechanic did. He installed the oil filter incorrectly and so my engine had no oil. Toyota requested receipts fir my expenses for a reimbursement and after having to call numerous times inquiring about it. I had to call the new branch manager in order to get my refund. Now my car does not run the same and more alarms keep going off.

      I bought 2017 Toyota Sienna about 2 1/2 months ago. I received a phone call from the Toyota Universe advising that my plates were ready for pick up. I went to the dealership to pick up my plates and they said they could not find them. That I should call the accounting department on Monday. I called and they said the plates should be in service. After many phone calls, they responded that my plates were lost or given to a wrong customer. They said they would reissue the plates and provided a temp. I called a couple weeks later, and the accounting department was not aware of the situation. Giving me no answer, if they reissued the plates or not. It's been nightmare trying to contact this business. I can not get anyone on the phone. I attempted to reach out to the used sales manager who facilitated the deal, but nothing text or call.

      On Monday June 27th My Wife and I went to Toyota Universe looking for a vehicle /car. We were assisted by Sales Rep her Name is ***. We were Specific on the budget and informed them that we didn't want anything beyond $550 Monthly Payments, they showed us different cars and we finally found one that we liked, they ran my credit score and they told me it was possible, so what followed next is they started strolling us until very late and they told Us to make Down payment of $**** while they were preparing the papers for us to sign for financing. We gave our card, and they took money from our card ,but instead of giving us the financing papers to sign they told us its very late so we should come back the following day in the morning to signs the papers.I went the following day and found out that the monthly payments were going to be above $ 650 so i refused to sign the deal.It's been over one week, and they don't want to send our money back. They told us they authorized money to be send but we haven't received anything yet, we were given phone Number to Finance manager his Name is ****, where've been trying to call him but he doesn't pick our phones. We just want our money back. We want our $ **** back what they did to us is illegal and unprofessional.

      This business made false claims of having a vehicle repaired by Saturday. It was not finished on Monday and when I tried to contact the business over the phone, they said they would have the manager call me back. After calling calling multiple times, the lady said she would get him in a second and said she was with a customer. She forgot to put me on hold so I could hear that she was not with a customer and never spoke to a manager. This business makes false claims to get customers, and their pricing is 3x the standard prices. This company should not be allowed to operate like this and the manager should be held accountable for not abiding by ********** law, Making deceptive or misleading statements or false promises of a character likely to influence, persuade or induce a customer to authorize the repair, service or maintenance of a motor vehicle. They did not provide a car for the duration of the repair and now Im stuck without a car or an explanation. This is not acceptable.
