      4/8/24 purchased a 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE "As Is" after repeatedly being reminded said car was in "great shape, Clean Carfax, NO issues or problems, selling this car for my friend".Mileage was approximately 110,030 miles. Car purchased in NJ, we live in **. PRIOR to purchase I arranged for a Professional car inspection by an "Aim Certify" -"Certified Technician",who I COMPLETELY believe was either Totally Incompetent OR PAID OFF by Magic Auto Sales owner Enes who I had been mostly communicating with regarding this vehicle. Technician ultimately provided me with a report Grading this car as a "B" - indicating only 1 concerning issue -a cracked passenger headlight Housing previously repaired with a silicone type material. Headlight appeared to be functioning properly with no signs of problems & had a Normal appearance. I spoke with the technician who could give me NO reason / cause for this damage. He relayed to me what Great condition this car was in overall, how he believed what Magic Auto relayed to him regarding the car history. NO real concerns. (We were Refunded by *** ******* for the cost of the inspection) On our way home on interstate I noticed the hood Quivering. A couple days after purchase I took to a Toyota dealer to change oil & check hood issue including Then ill fitting fenders .They noticed Immediately car had obviously been in an accident & NOT properly repaired. Dented radiator support, ill fitting hood & fenders. I notified Magic Auto Immediately & only response I got concerning that is "we didn't know anything about it". They were NOT interested in discussing it. I had brief communications with them regarding tags/car remote they were sending me-part of the reason for my initial silence. Since then I had a few more damaged areas under the hood pointed out to me- cracked base of hood support rod indicating hood was Bent up, an obviously Bent metal bar in front of engine which is Suppose to be flat & straight. Price should have been much cheaper

      I purchased a 2017 ***** CX9 for $17,000 cash. As I was driving home I started smelling antifreeze. I can the dealership on Monday telling them about the situation, also letting them know that I could only bring the car to them over the weekend because I have a business and they are an hour and a half away. They told me they would not rent me a loaner car for the weekend and I had to bring it during the week. They then asked me to have someone in my area to look at it and they would pay for it. I took it to my mechanic to look at it and head some what the leak was coming from and he said he had to move some things around to find exactly where the leak was coming from. They then asked me to bring it to them when they knew that the weekend was when I could bring it. I had purchased a warranty on my own and it was good, so I told the dealership that I would see if my warranty would cover it and if they did everything was going to be fine. I took it to ************** and found the the car had a blown head gasket. The warranty company came out look at the issue and determined in was a pre existing condition so the didn't help me. I reached out to the dealership and they told that they would help with the repair. The repair has been done and the cost was over $5000 which I paid and the only sent me a check for $500. I have spent in total ****** and I feel they knew of this issue before I purchased it and didn't say anything. I also went on ******* and found that this make and model has this issue. My car is not the first.

      Dear Mr. James, I must admit, your review left me utterly astounded. From the outset, we bent over backwards to assist you. When you initially raised the issue, we promptly offered to have the car in our shop on Monday to rectify the matter at no extra expense. Yet, what did you respond? "I'm working, I can only bring it on Saturday." Let's face it, how many mechanics can diagnose, order parts, and carry out repairs all in a single day, especially on a Saturday? None. You claim we refused Saturday, but I'm about to debunk that falsehood. We had indeed reserved a rental car for you starting on March 16th, which was a Saturday, extending until March 23rd, the following Saturday. You agreed to bring the vehicle in, but alas, you failed to do so. I'll gladly furnish BBB with the screenshot proving your dishonesty, contrasting with our earnest efforts to assist you.And what did you do next? Instead of availing yourself of our services, you opted for the dealership's service, which, might I add, egregiously overcharged you by a staggering $4,000. Our mechanic estimated the repair at a reasonable $1,200, yet you forked over a whopping $5,000 to the dealership? If you were so inclined to patronize the franchise dealer from the outset, why did you not purchase the vehicle there in the first place? We had arranged the repair at no additional cost to you, even booking a rental car and offering to cover its expenses, yet you squandered the opportunity by failing to bring the vehicle in, attempting to exploit us in the process. Your entire narrative reeks of falsehoods and manipulation.Furthermore, we had issued you a check for $500 as a gesture of goodwill. You received and deposited the check, deliberately waiting until the eleventh hour for it to clear before posting this scathing review. It speaks volumes about your character, and frankly, I'm at a loss for words. We possess ample evidence demonstrating our genuine efforts to assist you. Yours sincerely,
