  I was taken advantage of by someone that came to my door on a Saturday saying that I "did not read my bills" over the last 2 years and I should have been choosing a supplier. I have been recovering from ********************* and was on heavy medication. I explained this to ******** Mas - and her personal cell" - I had major issues even understanding what she was saying. She insisted that she met with my landlords who lived in the front house and that I just needed to pick supplier and I would "save so much money I've been wasting for the last few years". I asked if my landlords gave her information - and she insisted they did So I gave her my information. She said she would write down her information on my bills - which I provided to her being that she said my landlords already did the same. When I checked what she wrote after she left - it said "I do not work for the utility company" ... I immediately called her back and said she lied to me - which she refuted - and asked for her supervisors number. I called and he wouldn't give me direct information except to say I could cancel at any time and he didn't believe that ******* lied to me. What kind of company comes to someone's door on a Saturday - sees that they aren't in any shape to make decisions and basically entraps them into signing forms and not knowing actually what they were signing ... I did tell her I really didn't understand she said not to worry and that "because I didn't read, like most customers, I could have been saving money for the last 2 years". When I asked your rep ****** #****" he said you do not have cancelation numbers - and that I would get a letter, which I would then have to sign and return - all delaying my cancelation with Median. WHAT KIND OF SCAM ARE YOU ALL RUNNING?!?!?!? How do you take advantage at someone's home of them while they are on medication, under duress. ******* didn't even spell your company name correctly on the paperwork she gave me back.

  This company is a scam! A guy came to my house saying he was with **** (my supplier) and it was not true, he actually worked for Median Energy. I never gave consent for them to be my new suppliers and I only found out today through my bill. He had said that someone would call me later that day to confirm and that I had to take the call. I told him that someone could call me to better explain what he said because I was in the process of helping my parents move in the unit above me. Nobody eve called and I never confirmed anything. I called their customer service and a man by the name of **** was beyond rude! He was saying I had to pay them for supply that I NEVER requested from them. I told him I wanted to speak to his manager or supervisor about my issues with them and he said he was the manager. I repeated to him, his name and again asked if he was the manager and he said NO! So, on top of scammers they are LIARS! I did not request them as suppliers, they had originally came to my house saying them worked with **** which was a complete lie! This should be illegal !! I also i spoke to the supervisor, ***** (because at this point I don't know what's true or not with them, and she said that I had to pay the supply also because nothing is free. I get that nothing is free BUT I NEVER TOLD THEM TO PROVIDE SUPPLY FOR ME. I already had a supplier, they just stole information and now they want me to pay and I am not!

  In July of this year, I signed up with Median Energy Corp based on their customer *** indicating that my ********************** companies were charging me for not having selected an energy suppler but defaulting to my energy delivery company. If I signed up with Median Energy Corp, I would end up not being charged for those fees and end up paying less for my electric and gas. I was gullible enough to believe that she was telling me the truth. This past week (early October), I finally received a bill from my energy provider to discover that not only were those fees not reduced or eliminated but that energy costs (for both electric and gas) were significantly higher than what my original energy provider would have charged me. I guess one way this company makes their money is the $100 penalty payment for cancelling the 12 month contract. Although I can't find any documentation, I was told that I could cancel anytime without any penalty. The customer ***s from this company are dishonest in that they do not provide a full picture of the costs associated with changing your energy supplier to them. The customer *** that came to my door never discussed the energy prices that Median Energy Corp would be charging except to focus on the fact that the energy sources would be green or clean ones.

  Suspicious. Solicitor named ******************, representing Median Energy, came to my door last night at 7:30pm and wrongly assumed she was a representative from our condo development to help lower gas and electric monthly charges. I gullibly gave my initials to enroll. I did not provide any credit card or financial info. ******* reviewed with me my recent *********** to identify my current supplier for electric as Constellation New Energy. She said that I had a different supplier was for gas. (I couldn't find the name on my bill). She claimed that Median Energy supplies both gas and electric and therefore reduces taxes charged. In addition she claimed that I would get a $50 rebate as well as reimbursement for my highest gas and electric charges over the past year.I suspect this is a scam and have no interest in changing my current gas and electric suppliers.Sincerely,*******************************

  This company apparently has gotten the okay to switch my electric supplier without even asking me and now they keep sending harassing letters stating that my electric will be switched to their company instead of the current electric supplier I am using. I dont know how they got my info and how they were able to give the okay without even speaking to me. I feel like this is definitely FRAUD!!! Its definitely UNETHICAL!!! And this warrants a class action lawsuit!!!!

  Scammers!! Just like all the other reviews. Rep ****** my daughter up making her think he was from BGE and was going to lower her bill. Has been paying ridiculous amounts for months. I called and insisted they credit her for the latest bill at least or I was going to find a lawyer. They said they would send her a $290 rebate check but could not credit anything. They need to be put out of business!!

  Their rep lied. My utility bill has doubled since signing up . Canceled them 3 months ago but still listed as ** carrier.

  If I could give a zero I would! Sales woman came to my door lied to me and told me my energy costs would go down if I switched to median from jcpl well I was charged over **** in 2 months! Median is charging almost triple what jcpl charges and Im charged a delivery fee! Im a single parent w 3 kids and I cant be paying over **** for electric service ! I called median and they cant even read the bill correctly ! I want a credit back to my acct since this was all done illegally and I was scammed. I will be filing legal action against them

  Scam! Came to our door and told my husband that he was unable to read the meter. Didn't seem unusual since they're replacing the meters in our area. Asked to see our bill. Next thing we know, we're receiving a change of service notification. The **** was in my name, not my husband's and he never was asked to sign anything. Be careful!
