I have had nothing but c*** from this company. They do not want to fix anything. Most of the time I have to find my own repair person. Been waiting for 3 days for my ac tech to show up with empty promises. They have not covered anything I have submitted from fridge to ac to microwave an excuse to not cover it each time. This is the worst organization I have ever dealt with and I have had home warranty coverage for almost 20 years. Their contract is deceptive, they don't follow language in their own contract, they don't let you talk to management when you have a fundamental disagreement about the language in the contract, their people take the report from you in a way that angles your request for immediate refusal to repair. To get anything covered you have to spend about 20 hours on the phone to get them moving. They prorate anything more than a few years old and provide you essentially pennies on a broken appliance and then refuse to cover labor to install new equipment. Not worth it, they should be investigated and put out of business. There is flat out criminal behavior within this organization, it is a true scam. Is there any justice left in the **? if so this company should be investigated.Review from David B

Terrible coverage. My washing machine stopped working, I filed a claim and a repairman actually came out for $75.00 to tell me the electronic board was malfunctioning and it probably would cost $400.00 and he would send report to Select Home Warranty. Nobody called or emailed me, 5 days later I called and was told they would give me $150.00. I said I can't get a new washer for that, she said look on Amazon. No washers for that price. I asked for a manger to call me. I was told I would get a call in 3 hours. No call back, I did this 3 times and never got a call back. I had to go buy a new washing machine for almost $600.00. I am considering filing a claim in small claims court. Don't waste you time with these bums, they don't do what they promise. Meanwhile I am still waiting for the $150.00. **************Review from Jamie L

Don't waste your money. I was lied to multiple times about having a manager call me and never got a call. I called again and was told no manager was available and they couldn't help. I called again and was told to leave my number and they would call back and again no call back. The electrical guy that was used not only ghosted me multiple times bit hung up on the employee and then ignore multiple calls from her. The claim I was sent had nothing to do with the response from the warranty company saying they don't cover what was needed to be changed. (I have the most inclusive and expensive membership) of course they would not cover it. I called *** was lied to multiple times. They have scam workers that they have come out and no one follows up, no one communicates. They did nothing to help this horrible experience that lasted almost a month. The plan you pay for probably covers 1% of things that could happen. SCAM company. All Fraud. I canceled my policy and of course had to pay a cancelation fee. I hope somebody can't take this company down. They steal your money and give you nothing in return.Review from Della S

i feel this company is unfair and deceptive, they sent a part to my house for stove technician stated it was not approved for him to do the work. so why was part ordered without the option of me agreeing to a $250 installation fee. and i cannot talk with a supervisor. will not recommend them at all.Review from Alex P

I renew my contract with Select for another year for 549$, when I looked at my bill later on they actually charge me additional 770$ without my consent, I called customer servises to fined out why they charge me the respond was that its a mistake. Horrible service.Had them for under 1 year and spent 2 months (and counting) on a washer claim, even to a point that the tech that diagnosed the issue told me he was no longer working with them due to over $8,000 owed to him, and Select still not taking care of washer.To make it worst, had to create a new claim for HVAC (with 95+ degree weather daily) and after waiting 48 hours for they to even appoint a technician to inspect, reached out to customer service and found out they hadn't even pushed the claim to dispatch yet, and was told that needed to wait ANOTHER 48 hours for technician to be appointed (and nothing on when they would be available)Horrible company but stuck with them until HVAC gets taken care off.STAY AWAY FROM THEM this company is a jokeReview from Asaf A

BEWARE!! Do not select this company as your home warranty! I have had nothing about issues starting with them selecting substandard contractors who took my deductible and then NEVER returned to complete the work. I ended up paying for my plumbing issue and when i submitted my bill to SHW I was informed that they would only reimburse up to the amount that they would have paid the contractor--the one who never returned nor returned my phone calls! Repeated attempts to speak to a manager or supervisor were ignored and never had a return call! The 2nd issue I had with my washing machine was handled by simply stating that the problem was not a "result of wear and tear" No evaluation of the machine was conducted by a technician. I have had called multiple times trying to cancel my account and have been given the run around after being informed there is a $75 cancellation fee despite SHW not upholding their end of the agreement. I have still not received a return call from a supervisor after 2 business days--Buyer Beware and Run away from here! If I could give double zeros for a score I would!**************
