  I scheduled my move 40 days in advance on the day of the move they charged me more money the driver didn't get the updated order couldn't accommodate my things when I try to reschedule they told me it would be $250 but it was them that rescheduled and told me that I cannot get a refund I need $250 because I not only had to change my plane reservations it cost me more money they charged me $2,000 more than what I was originally quoted I also scheduled to pick up for my car the following date they pushed that back too so now I'm sitting here inconvenienced may have to go to a hotel and they haven't given me a date to pick up my things never use them

  First this is not a moving company it is a broker. I was told it was run by veterans, this is nothing but a scam and they should be closed down. The movers that came to move my stuff were filthy dirty, spoke little English, tried to charge me more to take less. I could turn my experience with them into a great horror story. Trust me you do not want to deal with this company. They lied about how much room I would have, did not explain that the $10,000 insurance is paid at .60 cents a lb., lead me to believe they were a moving company, lied about when the shipment would be delivered, Nasty experience. If I could rate them a -10 I would try for - 20 .BEWARE

  I submitted a form online looking for a mover and then started getting calls. After a few calls, I figured they were all comparable in price, so I went with Venture as they offered a same day booking discount. We had 2 moves from **** to one house in ********. I then read the horrible reviews after I paid a deposit. I contacted Venture and requested my money back. They assured me they were under new ownership. They are better now. They will not lose our stuff. Our stuff will be handled with care. The agent talked me off a ledge and I continued on with using them. I then realized they are a broker and not the actual movers. Ugh. I walked through with a representative, each furniture item and how many boxes I had for the move. I took photos and sent to the representative. I read reviews how people got charged more because they did not disclose all items, and they had to pay for more space. I wanted to be sure this did not happen. Once the movers arrived, they told me it will be more space. I had no choice at that time. I needed my items moved. It cost $2000 more, and all items still did not make it on the truck. I made sure to specify on the next move that we needed more space. I had to be adamant about more space. Luckily, I was, so we didn't get charged more again, but all items did not fit on truck. We had to get a uhaul. Once the items were picked up, no one at Venture would answer our calls or emails. They are not your advocate. They say what you want to hear, get your money, then disappear. Both loads of items had missing stuff, broken stuff and damaged stuff. Most items are irreplaceable. They had 2 companies coming at one time for move #2 which caused confusion. I am sure the one company that didn't get there first was upset as it was a waste of a drive for them. Move #2 came a day late, so we had to pay the buyers of the house more money to compensate their move being late. Move #2 also didn't get delivered until almost a month after requested date. RUN AWAY!

  I hired Venture Van Lines on Monday, June 24, 2024. The asked for a deposit in the amount of $500.00. My bill in total was $1,000.00. They were supposed to arrive on Wednesday the 26th. One of the movers that they contract out in ************ told me that I had to pay him $400.00 in order to move my belongings. He never contacted me after that 1 phone call. I hired another moving company and they came on Thursday the 27th. I am now in the process of trying to contact Venture Van Lines to get my $500.00 back. I spoke to a person on the morning Friday the 28th. She said she had to. talk with her manager and she would likely call me back that same day I never heard from her or anyone that day and I have been calling several times a day since then and I was only able to leave messages on voicemail and haven't received any calls from them. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU WULL REGRET IT JUST LIKE I AM!!!!

  Major scam alert! Do not use this moving company. My mom hired them to help her with a very rushed move where she had to be out in a couple weeks. First they arrived a day later then scheduled. Then after we were on the road about a day into our trip to move her out to ********** with me we received a call from a customer service rep in *****. Wanting to receive a payment that was much higher than originally quoted. By check sending a picture of the check which was a major red flag. We felt this was suspicious but because they have her stuff basically held hostage. Then once we arrived to ********** we kept checking in by email and text message when the delivery of my mom's belongings would be to the storage unit. First we were told ten days, then after those days we were told only 5 more days. Then the run around continued with just 8 more days. Then 10 days again. The moving date was March 21st and we have now been waiting over 2 months with her stuff not being delivered. We feel this company has taken advantage of an elderly woman who needed help moving and that we have been scammed. I'm beyond frustrated that we missed seeing these reviews on here and we certainly have learned quite a few lessons on really researching these companies before jumping in to using them but again we had limited time for her move out to sell the home. We now are unable to make contact with anyone from the company. Phone calls, emails, and text messages are being ignored by this company of thieves. Shame on you for taking advantage of my sweet mother, you not only have never delivered her everything she had in her home but many family photo albums and memories lost. Why so you could make a quick load of cash? I question how people like this sleep at night. One thing I am grateful for is that I had the instinct to pack all her clothes in the car I drove us to ********** in because if it were not for that she wouldn't even have clothes to wear.   We are sorry to hear about your experience with the move. In regards to pick up dates, we have you set for a 48 hour window. These dates are estimates, as stated on the quote. The move itself should not have taken this long and we are looking into what the issue was with getting this dropped off to take the right course of action moving forward.

  Terrible customer experience! I'm not sure how this business is operating legally. I placed my order for moving services on March 4, 2024 and am still waiting for my items to be delivered as of May 22, 204. The original move date didn't occur as the movers did not show up or call and Venture Van Lines wouldn't allow me to cancel the order for a refund. So I proceeded with the services in order to not lose my deposit. They contracted with another mover to pick up my things but they added more charges and I had to pay them via Venmo. There was no communication from Venture Van Lines and my calls asking for updates were ignored. The original salesperson said he would be with me every step of the way and I never heard back after the services were sold. Apparently another service has my items and said it could take another ***** days so at this point I'm not sure how to get the issue resolved. I write this in the hopes that others don't use this service for moving. There should be an option for zero stars.

  Please save yourself the headache. Do not use. This is my first and last time using moving company. Initially hired them to go from ********** to **********. They hire a 3rd party which is basically their excuse for a terrible customer service. They told me I would receive my items in 3 days it took 3 weeks. They dont pick up the phone, they dont give details. I almost filed a police report. They broke my TV, tables, paintings, desk, lamps and their third party will click in you and ignore your calls the moment you confront them for answers. Please read the fine print!!! They claim you have insurance but its $0.60 cents a pound and they have to accept liability . My 15lb tv would have received $9 reimbursement. The people with their third party is called R&b relocations. And they force you to pay In cash and ***** the moment they deliver so you wont recall the extra fees being charged at drop off. The worse experience in my life

I wish I read these reviews beforehand They Will take your initial deposit, block you and never respond!!! **** was the moving rep *** was the customer representative All clowns and .. beep !!!!! Even if they are the cheapest company and are nice at first trust me please dont use its a SCAM!!!! They play on your vulnerability!!! Literally after not showing up called another movers and paid deposit and it being a day notice had to pay almost double the price to move!!! SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE START AND DO NOT USE THEM

  My experience with Venture Van Lines LLC was a complete nightmare. *******'s persuasive pitch led to unexpected costs, and on the moving day, they demanded an additional $3,000. They loaded my belongings despite knowing I didn't have my new home yet. They ignored my calls and took 10 days to deliver, with many items arriving damaged. This company operates dishonestly and should be avoided at all costs.
