Would not even give them one star. Worse business. Buyer beware. Only in the business to take your money. Taking advantage of elderly people. They paid for this warranty outsourced to ultimate drain so they could have insurance on sewer pipes and have been scammed. It’s been over a month, they cancel reschedule appts, ask them to move equipment and have to pay out to pocket anyways. They couldn’t even get their own techs on phone to ask them for project update! Why I asked to speak to manager they hung up on me, then said managers were in a call and someone would call me back. I am still waiting for call back. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. If you have warranty will them cancel immediately.

I contracted the company to replace a sewer line at the end of August 2024. Part of the job required the company to remove pavers on my patio and walkway as well as cinder blocks for a retaining wall near the patio. I was informed it it would be only 2-3 rows at most but ended up being close to ***** + the walkaway and pavers near the garage. The company said that the dirt above the new pipe would need about 4-6 weeks to settle. After that they would reach out to level the ground and restore the pavers. It has now been 5 months and my patio is still not in working order. They never reached out so I had to **** them down and connect with them.I have called around ***** times since October. The phone either rings for ***** minutes and no one answers or I connect with customer ********************** who will not transfer me to the team that handles restorations, they only "pass on a message" to have them call me back.I eventually connected with ********* who handles appointments for the restoration work in mid October. I explained what needed to be done and we initially we set an appointment for 11/6 to have the crew complete the work. She followed upon 11/24 via text and said she could have someone there sooner. I agreed and the crew showed on 11/24. They were not able to complete ANY work as the ground need to be leveled first and left. I followed up multiple times via calls and texts to let ********* know and ensure the proper folks were coming through on 11/6. She never responded. After multiple calls in November I finally was able to get someone out to level the ground in early December. I was assured they would also send a crew to put the pavers back as well but that never happened. I followed up multiple times again and they finally sent someone. It was a single employee who was only able to complete about the half the job mid December. I have been following up since and they have not responded.

Ultimate and Company (aka ******* and Son) Serviced my sewer line after being contacted by ************************* AWR is a plumbing insurance company for any issues related with your main sewer line. I personally spoke with ***, a representative of ******* and Son on 8/7/2024. He told me the issue the technician reported and said that the insurance company isn't responsible for repairs. *** said he would email me the quote along with the technicians service report. Days later, after no contact from the company, I reached out and tried speaking with *** again. *** called me 3 days after the second attempt. The technician showed up to the home twice to try and clear the sewer line. After the second attempt they advised us that $3000-$5000 in repairs were needed to "fix the trap" because there was no access to the trap. They also had AWR side with them and not send a second opinion out to see if they agreed with the technicians diagnosis. After seeking our own opinion which was out of pocket, Roto Rooter was able to clear the issue within a few hours. We have document reports from Roto Rooter saying they used the access that ******* and Son claimed was non existent. ******* and *** is a scam of a company and was looking to dig up our front lawn just so they could access the trap which already had the necessary access.

Dear BBB and Mr. ************ appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint. First, we apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused during the course of our service.
We have thoroughly reviewed the details of Mr. ******* experience with our company, Ultimate Drain Cleaning and Service, LLC. The service was initiated through ************************ (AWR), and our technician made two attempts to clear the sewer line. Based on the diagnostic findings from our technician, the condition of the trap was determined to require repairs, and this was communicated to Mr. ****************** we regret that our communication with the customer was not timely, particularly regarding the follow-up after the service. We understand the importance of clear and prompt communication, and we will ensure that this does not happen in the future.
We respect Mr. ****** decision to seek a second opinion. We would like to clarify that our technician's assessment was based on the information available at the time of service. While we stand by the initial diagnosis, we recognize that plumbing issues can sometimes be resolved with different methods or techniques.
Moving forward, we will take steps to improve our communication and ensure all customers receive timely responses and a clear understanding of their service options.
As Mr. ***** has requested no further contact from us, we will honor that request.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
      Sincerely,
Ultimate Drain Cleaning and Service, LLC

late last summer we were alerted by our water company that we had a water pipe leak in front of our house. We contacted our water company through which we have insurance and they directed us to ultimate drain who came out assessed the problem and let us know that they would be able to repair it but it was not covered by the insurance and would be $6000. we gave a $3000 deposit to ultimate drain after talking to the manager ******* and him explaining the process and let us know that our driveway would be repaved with asphalt to match the existing asphalt the job was done. The 1 day job turned into a 4 day job because they were not able to complete it on the 1st day and left us connected to our neighbors Water through a garden hose 3 days. finally they came back to finish the job and covered up the broken asphalt with rock as that needed to settle for two weeks and said they will be back with the asphalt. This took place end of November. They finally came back in January after calling them and pleading with them to come and do the asphalt because we did not want it to snow on top of the rock because that would be troublesome to shovel and its literally right in front of our stairs . They finally came on a rainy day at 9am with no notice as were getting ready for work. and we left them outside to do the job. When we came back we noticed that it was cold patch not asphalt. cold patch, which is laid in cases of emergencies and is a temporary fix. This is still sticky weeks later sticking on our shoes tracking in the house when it rains it rolling off and going in the street. Theres divots all over. Its not even its an unfinished poor job. We have called countless times, multiple times a week. **** spoken to ******* the office manager who tells us shes gave ******* the messages and not sure when hes getting back to us. all we want to know is, are they going to actually lay asphalt or we want our money to go elsewhere.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We value the opportunity to address your concerns and clarify the situation.
First, we want to apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during the repair process and for the delays in communication. We understand that the completion of the asphalt work and the quality of the final product have been a source of frustration, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the individual mentioned in your complaint, the correct name of our manager is *****, not *******, and we want to ensure this clarification for accuracy. He has been terminated earlier this year and is no longer a part of the company.
As for the issue with the asphalt, we acknowledge that our team initially laid down cold patch as a temporary solution. Cold patch is commonly used in emergency situations or as a temporary measure when the weather or other circumstances make it difficult to lay permanent asphalt. We understand, however, that this solution has not met your expectations.
Once again, we apologize for the delay and for any disruption this has caused. Our goal is to ensure you are fully satisfied with the work we provide.
      Thank you for your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because:

This apology does not resolve the fact that cold patch was put on the driveway. There has been no effort to fix this  as of 2 years ago. We had to pay out of pocket for paving to our driveway and still have a section with cold patch.

      Regards,

      Lizchelle ********

Thank you for your continued feedback. We understand your concerns and would like to clarify our position in response to your comments.
We acknowledge that the initial work performed on your driveway involved the use of cold patch. However, as of now, there is nothing further for us to fix, as the repairs were completed to the best of our ability at that time, under the circumstances presented. We cannot comment on the actions or promises made by an employee who is no longer with the company, as they do not reflect our current policies or practices.
Our current team is here to respond to your inquiries as they stand today, but given that the job was completed two years ago and you have already paid out of pocket for further paving, there is no remaining action our company can take at this point.
We regret any inconvenience caused and sincerely hope that this brings clarity to the situation. If there is anything else we can assist with, please feel free to reach out.
