      I filed a complaint with this company as they provide support for the moving walkway at *** airport. They put black tape on the railing and black goo oozed out onto my and my wifes hands and onto her expensive raincoat. This happened in August 2023. I asked for $100 compensation for the raincoat and for an hour of our inconvenience. I have called a number of times and they have not returned my calls. They are shameful and need to clean up the mess at the airport as well. Much appreciated.

      This has been going on for the last year and a half. This company comes out to my apartment building to try and fix the elevator, and never can figure out what the issue is. The elevator has been broke down for the last five weeks and this is just ridiculous for the amount of rent we pay in this building for an elevator to be broke down. My husband has gotten stuck in the elevator and had to call the fire department.

      So...It started about 3 1/2 months ago. I work for the *** Gym at *************. I had the fire people come in a do their inspection. Well are elevator is broken...needs to be fixed. So they gave me some time to get it fixed. I called the Schindler elevator people. Got someone the it must have been their last day. Got an email back say no longer work here, call or email these people. so I did. Long Story, Called & emailed. it was like palying email *********** tag. i have work orders in txt saying what was going to happen and when. called the day of they work order.....no knows nothing of the work orders. no ones anything. talked to the head director. Finely got somewhere with him. But then again nothing. Then they told me what I needed to do to get this done. So I did.....I called who they asked. No showed up. again. sec time too!I have all the emails, phone, txt,This has been a problem with them since day one. I have done want I could with out any info. they are not talking. Its been about 3 weeks since I heard from them. I will get fined for this elevator not being fixed.

      I represent the owner of a 45 unit apartment complex that opened in November 2021. Throughout the first year the property was open and while the elevator (provided by Schindler during the construction of the building) was under the initial 1 year warranty, we were charged over $12,000 to repair the elevator. I requested, on numerous occasions, itemized invoices so we could see what we were being charged for. There was a service contract in place for the 2nd year, which we paid over $4,000 for and we continue to be invoiced for each visit they make to the property. Furthermore, they are now trying to charge us another $12,000 for a component of the elevator that "is made of glass and can no longer be repaired/replaced" even through the component that is in the elevator is fully functional. When I asked why would be pay to replace something that isn't even broken or defective, I was told that it would cost more to replace in the future when it does break down. I believe Schindler needs to replace this component since they installed it in the elevator at construction. If we do not receive an acceptable resolution to these concerns, we are prepared to take this concern to the AG's office in the ***********.

      My apartment building has elevators that are installed and operated by Schindler. The machines constantly break, we have been left for months without working elevators. Tenants get stuck, and Schindler constantly lies about sending out technicians. Recently a tenant was stuck for over an hour because Schindler told us they would be there within 20min, and then never showed up - had to call 911. Day after day, month after month we are told we are waiting on parts to be ordered that never come. This is a constant problem, and they constantly do not show up to fix it. Our building is contracted with Schindler so while they refuse to fix our elevators, we also are unable to have anyone else service them.

      The elevator is stopped at least 3 times since we moved in the apartment building a year ago, this is a brand new building for only 3 years, the elevator should be new as well. It is So often the elevator is out of service is so strange to us ?. Is it a used one when they built the building ?, otherwise why the elevator stopped so many times in a year ?. Each time the Schindler elevator *** cant handle the problem right away because they told us they need orders the parts, when we experience the 2nd stop, we were waiting for the parts for more than a month. It made a terrible hard life for the seniors special living on the higher floors. My wife and l both got Covid at that time, we need go to the emergency room, it was terrible hard for us to use stairs during that time, can you imagine our situation by they time ?, we sold our single family and move to this apartment building because we think it better for the senior living, Here has very nice environment, we may enjoy rest of our lives, because we are over 70 years old !. But the reality is not what we think of it, the elevator stops which disrupts our normal life, we feel we are suffering the difficulties that we never met in our life. We know we may call 911 for a help, but it is so expensive for us !., we cant afford it. Recently my neighbor had his heart surgery who also live on the top floor with us, after his surgery and back home , they are also faced serious problems to get to the top floor, we can feel that they are so upset as well ! Would you please help us to contact the Schindler elevator *** to improve their service especially for handling the emergency issue, we are so appreciate it. In our community, we have 5 same building and exact same elevators, we think the company should have enough parts to face the emergency problems which way May save the legal issue in the future. We do not want to rise up to the legal issue with the company, we just would like they improve their service right away . We believe that they may become a wonderful company to make their customers to trust their service!.       Schindler owns the elevators in my apartments and I never knew that an elevator could have so many quality issues. These elevators are complete c*** There are 5 in a 30 story building and since I've lived there there is always 2 or 3 down for parts. We have been waiting for belts out of ***** for 2 months! Tonight, I heard one of the elevators what sounded like a belt breaking. I called the office and sure enough people stuck on the elevator. *************** called. Trying to rescue the riders. WHAT? Never knew elevators were this unreliable. And they're hot inside. No air flow. Want to get stuck? What is wrong with these people? We are now down to one elevator in a building built 5 years ago. Schindler should be sued for millions. Please fix our elevators and stop sourcing parts from *****!

      The Schindler's elevator that was installed in my condominium has been problematic since 2016. The initial problem with the elevator started with shakes while in motion. Next, residents started getting trapped in the elevator, requiring emergency assistance. Most recently, the elevator has experienced numerous shutdowns, slamming of the door, and volatile shakes during operations. Pinebrook residents are suffering dearly. We have residents who are disabled and have serious medical conditions that make the elevator a lifeline. It is unacceptable that a large and distinguished company is unable to properly fix this major issue. This elevator is ill-fated for a major disaster. I would like Schindler to comply with their own policy of a quality product and meet their customers' expectations of a reliable elevator that is functional for many years to come. We want and deserve world-class care.

      Hi I am very frustrated with this company I have recieved 3 bills from them for $4198.50 but no one has returned my calls or emails I have asked for an explanation of these **** but I get no response We are a ************** and have a brand new elevator installed 3.5 yrs ago It stopped working for 3 months Every time we called this company their technician would tell us it's an electrical problem and every time we called an electrician he would say it's their problem The final verdict was it's a compressor problem It wasn't a problem after one of the members of the congregation fixed it at no charge and the elevator has been working fine for the last 2 months No compressor was changed Now we have a huge **** from this company and no response to our calls or emails I even went to their address *********************** and I can't find them I don't want to go to collection

      The company is very unresponsive. Signed a contract with them for service and maintenance. Our elevator stopped working and it took weeks to finally provide us with a response or ETA for our elevator repair. When we were finally able to get a response, it was for them to inform us that it will be at least another 4 weeks for the repair to even begin. We have tenants that are handicap, and this is the only handicap accessible elevator at our property.
