The only reason I am giving it a 2 is because the nursing staff was neither rude nor overly kind. They were efficient and nice. That is it. The office staff was similar with the exception of one person. She was abrupt and impatient when answering my questions. I did not appreciate the attitude, especially after dealing with an impertinent doctor.Dr. ********* was rude to me from the moment he walked through the exam room door. As an obese person, I prepare myself for judgemental looks from medical staff. However, I've never been scoffed at by a doctor the moment he saw me. D'Agotini was the doctor I was assigned to through ********* comp for an injury to my knee. After x-rays, he said I have osteoarthritis but still have cartilage. Then, in the next breath, he told me that I would require knee replacement surgery, but with a high ************* was not likely to cover it. I said that osteoarthritis wasn't due to the injury and wanted to know how we would be fixing that issue. Dismissively, he said it was a bone bruise and sent me on my way. After a few further appointments with this attitude and no improvement, I requested an MRI. ********** point blank said, "No. You need knee replacement surgery." Then said again that I probably couldn't have the surgery due to my BMI. I left that appointment furious and demanded a new doctor from my adjuster. Throughout my situation with *********, he was dismissive, arrogant, condescending, and downright rude. Once I was paired with a new (and WONDERFUL) orthopedic, I was finally given an MRI and diagnosed with a severe torn meniscus. I am now post-op and on the healing side of a too long and painful journey. ********* never once took me seriously about my actual work injury due to his preassumptions about my weight. He deemed me unworthy of proper care due to his blatant prejudice. ********* may be a good doctor to many, but I can not recommend him due to my experience, especially to anyone overweight.
