    On Sep 13, 2024, I made a car rental reservation with Travelouts. When I was told that the deposit was nonrefundable, I told the agent, Drake, that that was unacceptable, and I would find another agency for the rental. At that time Drake said, ok, we can make it refundable. I requested an email stating that agreement (copy attached). In Dec 24, my travel plans changed, and I needed to cancel the reservation. I called Drake who cancelled the reservation but told me the deposit was nonrefundable. I said that was unacceptable and that I had an email from him stating it was refundable. He said he would escalate the case and that I would get a response within 10-15 days. When I did not, I called again and spoke with a supervisor Dominick. He said that he would follow up and call me back. He did not so on Jan 23, I called again and spoke with Aaron a floor supervisor. Aaron told me that he would escalate the case to customer service and that I would get a call back in 10-15 days. When I did not receive a return call, I called again and was transferred to Drake who told me that I needed to stop calling and bothering them. He said I was not going to receive a refund. When I reminded him about the email I had from him saying the price was refundable he replied, "You will NEVER receive a refund." The emphasis was his not mine. He then told me to not call back again and hung up on me. I only entered into this agreement because I had the rental agreement that said the deposit was refundable if my travel plans changed. I am asking that this company honor the agreement they made. The original credit card I used for this transaction was compromised and cancelled so a refund will have to be made on a different card.

    I tried to rent a car through them on November 5th. When I got to the car rental they wouldn't accept my debit card. Travel outside took a deposit of $189.85. I contacted them on November 6th to inquire about my refund. They said it would be refunded in 5 to 10 business days. It has been 7 weeks and I have called at least six times every time somebody gives me a completely different story. Never got the same person they would not connect me to their billing department and at one point one of them told me I would never get my money if I contacted better Business bureau.

    Dear Customer Service My name is ****** ******* I have reservation Hotel on **** ***** **** ,****. Check in in May24 and check out May 28/2024 My Itinerary # ************** I talked to your agent Miko in March 24/24 regarding to cancel 3 nights from May 25-28 . Unfortunately he confused me with cancellation information and instead to cancel 3 nights he charged for two nights cancellation penalty $114 CAD from my c/c . I checked with Hotels.com and with the Hotel in **** and get information today from them that no cancelation was done and my reservation is active. No cancellation was done. And I request to cancel the cancellation but no agent want to help me with this issue. I kindly request Please to Stop any actions in my reservation from now and on and to refund $114 back to my credit card in full amount . Thank you. Best Regards ****** *******

    On September 12, 2023, I called TravelOuts.com to book a flight. TravelOuts took my money, and did not book as promised. They charged me $275 for a "infant seat" on a flight. What I actually got was a "lap seat", which is FREE through said carrier, Delta. Upon contacting TravelOuts to resolve the issue, they continued to demand more money, coming up with ridiculous fees (I.e. you owe another $1300. You owe another $5300.) They told me I could not cancel nor get refunded. Nothing on their site says non-refundable. Upon researching TravelOuts further, there are many, many complaints against them and stories of them committing identity theft.

    I booked cancelled reservations in April 2022 with Hotels.com.In December 2022 I received an email from them about my upcoming reservations. I contacted their customer service number. They informed me I had to pay $483 to avoid a penalty on a free cancelation. After checking with their corporate office, I found out should not have been charged. However, the person I spoke to at **************** charged my card with a company called TRAVELOUTS. I never heard of this company. I believe TRAVELOUTS is a scammer.
