INVESTIGATIVE DEMAND! AVVO unlawfully INCREASED the monthly amount I previously authorized them to debit from my Discover credit card after I properly discontinued attorney advertising services with AVVO. I protested to both AVVO and Discover; however, **** convinced Discover that the debit was lawful and the monthly debit continued. AVVO committed transaction card fraud against me (in a minimum amount of $2,100) using Discover, or with Discover's wilful complicity, in the process.I am herein demanding copies of all similar complaints filed with the BBB against AVVO, as well as, Contact information for the filer of each Complaint. Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication between the parties on the advertising services provided. As such, AVVO, has issued a check refund in the amount of $2275. Due to the nature of the refund, the process could take ***** days to complete.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I asked for information from the BBB on similar complaints regarding AVVO unlawfully retrieving (debiting) funds from attorney client's credit card card and/or bank accounts. The website has posted inaccurate information about me and my business. The content is a review that is spam, not from a client and not in our area of practice. I have written to the company to remove the review and my personal information immediately and they have ignored my request.Business response

I thought things would be as good and maybe even better here in ******* then they were in a small town in ********. However, I only received 3 credible leads from them in a 6 month period. Most calls came from existing clients are vendors trying to sell me something. They were supposed to keep in touch with me and tweak things as we went along as they did in ******** but none of that happened. Once they have your money thats all they care about. They just kept charging me every month for literally zero results. I informed them that I wanted to stop services and they wanted me to pay a 60% cancellation fee. I want this to end now. They deserve nothing.
