During my wax appt on Jan 17, 2024, the esthetician that tended to me was very kind However, it was clear she did not know what she was doing. I am European Wax Center client for over 8 years. I am aware of the proper wax procedures that should be followed. This esthetician repeatedly went over my skin multiple times! Some areas she went over as many as 5 times with the wax before the tweezers. This was extremely painful! The esthetician's response to my complaint was to chastise my previous lack of after care and attempted to sell me products that I already purchased from the establishment in the past. Upon exiting I mentioned the incident to the Receptionist and she was visibly shocked at the event described. Instead of concern, I was met with the audacity of a tip request! Speechless at the lack of concern for my health & safety, I simply replied with the request to NEVER appoint that esthetician to me again and walked out. I was left uncomfortable with my skin burning and hot to the touch. Upon arriving home, I discovered my intimate skin areas blistered and some areas bleeding! After almost a decade and investing thousands of dollars in the EWC company, I expect to only have trained professionals appointed. An esthetician should not repeat the skin wax more than twice. I am presently concerned for my skin and immediate health conditions.I have not gotten a call back or an email or anything addressing my issue. It’s been over two weeks. I would think that your team would be more diligent on my concerns, considering that I I suffered potential health complications following my visit at one of your centers. I even tried to call the wax center directly. No one has returned my call this is highly unprofessional and I am disappointed. I feel that I am treated unfairly. I’ve been trying to get in contact with somebody with upper management to resolve this issue. I even left a Google review where someone assured me that a manager would be in touch.
