    There was a fire in November at the house close behind mine that damaged some of my property. A wood fence that had some plastic shielding at the top to prevent my cats from jumping. Both the fence and plastic burned. The plastic had melted onto the pavers that Bayview had done 3 years ago. I thought they would need to be replaced but ***** said he thought he could get the plastic up with muriatic acid. In January he quoted me $333.20 to remove the plastics and stated there was no guarantee. When in July the attempt was made he told me that he had thought he could use muriatic but found it shouldn't be used on pavers. He'd brought Rustoleum Rust Resolver. Then apparently something else was attempted that did not remove anything. Bayview insisted that I pay the entire amount even though nothing was accomplished. He should have told me prior to my signing the contract that muriatic acid could not be used. this seems a very deceptive business practice, to tell me one thing, found that you were wrong after I accepted the quote and then demand that I pay as though the job was done. Now in the end I know the pavers have to be replaced but will have to find someone else to do that - ***** counted about 30 pavers that will now need to be replaced by someone else.
