In May 2024, Donna M. of Picture Perfect NJ came to **** ******* ****** ****** to take 8th grade graduation pictures and a panoramic picture of the entire 8th grade. On June 12, my son brought home the pictures. The 8th grade panoramic is blurry and there are multiple children who cannot be seen as the children were not lined up properly. It is blurry to the point that it is not possible to recognize some children. I reached out the same day to Donna to inquire if new pictures would be taken and if not, I advised I wanted my money back. I also contacted our PTA who had also reached out to Donna. Donna finally emailed me back 2 days later and advised she would request my refund. She also notified our PTA president that she would be refunding my money. Over a week goes by and I do not receive the refund so I follow up again on June 22, a few days later she responds that she is checking with accounts payable to find out the status. Again, I hear nothing back so I follow up yet again on July 5. She responds today saying if I want a refund i have to mail the photo back. It has been almost a month since my initial email and this is the first time she is mentioning that I need to ship the photo back. It is of use to her nor is it to me but it will cost me more to ship back to her due to the size of the photo than the refund. She is just trying to get out of refunding my money which promised back on June 14, 2024. If the photo was a stipulation of the refund that should have been mentioned day one. I have advised I will leave the photo at the ****** ****** or with the PTA to get my refund. She has not responded. She took money for a service that was not provided. I would like my money refunded and I am happy to leave the photo for her where she dropped it off at the ******.
