We eased an SRT 2024 from this dealership. The vehicle was in a slight flood and had damage from a raised unseen man hole in the streer in ********** **. I submitted a claim to my insurance company *****. They gave me a rental for a max of 30 days. In that time period Paramus Dodge never ordered or touched my vehicle for repairs. I then took the vehicle out of the dealership and brought it to an other auto body. The job was completed in 6 days. Unfortunately i paid ****** for the added days of the rental due to the fact that Dodge never touched my car and i had to remove it from there in order to get my car repaired. DODGE corporate will not do anything to reimburse my ****** out of pocket expense due to Paramus Dodges inefficienct to repair or order parts. I am irrate and DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

My daughter had her 2019 Jeep Cherokee serviced VERY RECENTLY with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, ************************************************. She spoke with *************************** (service rep) for replacing spark plugs, brake fluid change, coil-ignition, arm-valve replacement. She was charged $2,577.50 !!! When she called to pick up the ************* stated they needed to keep it another day because "something still doesn't sound right??". The next day **** called her and said she needed a "left cylinder head replaced for $6,589.00"!! Thats when I took over the conversation and repeatedly requested to turn the Jeep back over to my daughter and we were not getting any other work done. **** was VERY DISRESPECTFUL to my daughter and myself over the telephone and stated they were keeping the jeep. Of course the two service managers ***** and **** weren't around to speak to us. After calling Jeep headquarters and the police. The jeep was returned to us. The next day I drove the jeep it to my local mechanic who VERIFIED SUPER GLUE WAS PLACED ALL UNDER THE CYLINDER HEAD and coils among other issues. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR, TRUCK, JEEP TO THIS PLACE! *************************** IS A FAST TALKER AND LIAR!!

We place a high level of standard on our technicians and have a quality inspection process in place, we would like to make this right for you. When would you be available to speak to the management team?

My father leased a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this place in August of 2023. He kept it in perfect condition and suddenly died in March of 2024. Heartbroken I took over his lease so I could keep a piece of him with me since he loved his cars. He was a master mechanic for almost 50 years. So on 5/30/24 I took it in to the service department for an oil change and recall repair for the backup camera. After waiting for 2 hours and paying $250 the car was ready. As the valet employee pulled up with the truck I heard a very loud noise coming from the engine. I tried not to think anything of it so I got in and started driving. As I started to get onto the highway I noticed the truck wouldn't accelerate and was making a very loud metal-like sound. Then the engine and oil pressure lights came on. Finally I got back to the service department where they told me to turn the engine off. I went back in to the waiting room and watched while they couldn't get the car to start back up so they had to roll it back to the garage. After sitting there for another 2 hours with zero communication I got up to ask them what was going on. I was immediately directed to the service manager who had a loaner car ready for me. I was given some nonsense explanation how during recalls a mechanical failure can happen. Sounded to me that oil was not put back in the engine and it seized. The dealership will NOT admit to any wrongdoing whatsoever. So now I have to take a car back that meant so much to me, that had only ***** miles on it, with a refurbished engine and God knows what else. They never communicated with me after the fact and refuse to give me a refund for the complete lack of service I received. They've ruined a brand new truck and I have to go through Jeep for a possible buy back. They will not work with me in any way and just want me to take the car back and that's it. Pathetic place that deserves to be shut down.

This is hands down the worst experience I've encountered in any service setting. The service advisor, ******************, made several conflicting comments about the status of my vehicle. My dash camera was rolling the entire time and the footage told an entirely different story and time line of the progress of my vehicles repair. Even after my vehicle was completed and stating the alignment had be fixed, I'm driving down the road with a crooked steering wheel worse than when I brought the vehicle in. I checked the dash camera and the vehicle was never even test driven after the alignment. The alignment machine may say it's straight, but you still need to adjust the toe angle to make sure the steering wheel is centered! My car was in the shop for nearly three weeks and they claimed to not have any loaner vehicles available... This dealership prides themselves on being the biggest CDJR dealer in Bergen County, yet claim they only have 5 loaner cars available and that for three weeks, not a single loaner was returned.Having worked in the automotive industry for a decade myself, specifically in service, I know how much customer satisfaction index (CSI) matters, not only for the reputation, but these surveys corelate to financial incentives and performance goals. I asked my service advisor and the service manager, ****, to try to make things right by repairing my vehicle so that I could leave a positive review, but they have not returned my calls even after 3 voicemail and 3 emails.Final word of advice for the advisor, *******. You seem to still be "green" as a service writer. You'll get along a lot further in your career by telling the truth instead of lying to your customers and blaming others if something doesn't go right. Your intentions seemed to be there, but lying to the customer to try to tell them what you think they want to hear isn't the way to succeed. Be truthful and straight forward.

************ center. I purchased a Jeep from a private sale and took it to the service center for them to do a full inspection. Upon inspection, they convinced me to pay them $4,300 for a bunch of work telling me that "if you approve all this work today, you won't have to do anything except change the oil for the next ****** miles."1 week and less than 100 miles later, I went back to get some aftermarket stuff installed, under the impression that my jeep was fully serviced and in good shape. Not only did they give me an outrageous quote for installing the parts, they gave me ANOTHER $4,000 repair bill on top. They told me that my oil filter housing was leaking, the radiator needs to be replaced, and that since we're in there, we should do the spark plugs as well.LESS THAN 100 MILES since I took it to the SAME service center, the SAME GUYS told me they did a full multipoint inspection and they convinced me to pay them $4,200 telling me that it's all I need.

I was forced to pay in full for a repair that was 1. Not complete and 2. Partially covered by my extended warranty. Need for BBB to confirm what Im describing is considered unethical business practices. Brought my jeep in to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep of Paramus (CDJP) for a scheduled service along with a need to resolve a wobble with the vehicles steering. The dealership performed the service and identified the issue with the steering which required a new part be ordered. I was informed over the phone that part was ordered and Id need to return on a later date to have the repair completed once the part arrived. Before closing I returned to pick up my vehicle. Before I was allowed to leave with my vehicle, I was forced to pay full amount of the invoice, including the service cost, insurance deductible and the insurance covered cost. Again, the full repair is not yet completed. I reluctantly paid and was instructed to reach out to the extended warranty provider for reimbursement. In talking to the extended warranty insurer, they informed me that they typically do not provide payment until after a repair is complete and it is not normal to do so otherwise. They also informed me that there was an open invoice from CDJP service department for the repair. Meaning the service **** was still looking to get paid from the insurance company even after I paid in full. My concern now is that the service department has their money and I may never get the part or the repair completed. CDJP provided no time table in which the part would come in or when I could return. (Fortunately my extended warranty insurer Allstate is understanding our accommodating in this situation)I would recommend everyone think twice about considering Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Paramus for repairs or services. If you are outside the standard manufacturer warranty, I suggest going to a more conventional mechanic. I will be emailing Jeep corporate and leaving a negative yelp review.

Disgrace and Out right Liars and Thieves I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler that I purchased in April 2022. The Jeep has about ***** miles on it. This vehicle was purchased with full extended warranty for which I wanted to ensure that serious issues would be covered. Well on Sept 24, 2023, I stopped at a stop light in ***. I called Carshop and they advise that I could tow it to a closer repair shop, and they should honor the warranty. I had the car towed to Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge of Paramus. I explained what happened and gave them the warranty information so if something was covered by the warranty. The following day I received a call from the service representative stating that the repairs would cost $2900.00. I asked him to explain what the charge was entailed and did any of those charges was covered by any of the warranty. He said he called the warranty company, and nothing was covered. He stated that the issues were that the breaks needed to be replaced, the vehicle needed throttle body service and *********************** and the battery needed replacement to correct the issues of the Jeep. I protested that I dont think the breaks had anything to do with the car not starting. He then requoted the repairs at $1600. I asked if any of those service was covered by the warranty insurance, and he said no because they are routine maintenance. However, he had stated to be that he had call the insurance warranty company and they said nothing was covered. I placed a call to the insurance directly and they stated that no one from the repair shop called. They insisted that I needed the Throttle body service and *********************** in order to fix the issue that I brought the car in to address. After further, investigation turns out that this issue is common with some Jeep Wranglers where the auxiliary battery dies and thus affect the ability for the Jeep to restart. Thus, I only needed the batteries replacedThis business is preying on the community !!!

Bought 2018 Wrangler Jk new in 8/19 now has ****** mi. Went into limp mode and remote start not working, check engine light also on. Diagnosed myself with OBD2 and came up transfer case switch. Thought twice about doing myself because if I was wrong felt dealer would void drive train warranty 5yr/ 50,000 or something close to that. Brought to dealer and after a week was told I need a **** [totally integrated power module]. Questioned it and was told how highly trained and certified the mechanics are. Told them to go ahead and replace it. Told part would be a week or so. At the end of third week and renting a car [$ ******** out of pocket] still could not tell me when part will be in. Took Jeep back that Friday and had The **** I ordered on Friday and had by Monday [$1,000.00 dollar part] Installed myself on Tuesday did hard and soft reset as recommended and still had same issue. Installed transfer case switch and issue gone. Put in original **** and 3 weeks later still going strong. When I told the dealer {$320.00 diagnostic charge] that their diagnoses was incorrect they would have no part of it and stood by their claim. Total fools and over 3grand out for a $100.00 part. Please avoid this sit hole and these a holes. Highly trained and certified idiots. Yes 0 stars -5 stars.

They have the worst finance people. They won't tell you what you have to do and what you need to know. Be very careful. A consumer protection lawyer who specialized in auto dealership fraud will help you. Strongly not suggesting this dealership.
