I went to them for work on my Ram **** which is still under warranty. Before they know it may warranty work I was told that if I have the work done there the diagnostic fee goes away. However I was then told that if its under warranty I will still be in the hook for the diagnostic fee, because someone has to pay for it?? I asked for the policy in writing it was refused. I just want the work done and my warranty honored without the bs

Reviewed customers profile and the customer misunderstood diagnostic fee, we waive the fee completely if work is covered and if work is not covered we use the diagnostic fee towards the repairs. The only way the customer walks away with a diagnostic fee is if he decides to do no work here at all. We charge it because ************** took his time to figure out issue. Technicians are paid for their time.

My transmission on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator with only ***** miles on it at the time was experiencing difficult shifting and a check engine light. It had made me feel very scared for my life as multiple times it kicked from high gear to low gear making my car jerk aggressively on the highway. So I brought it to the closet dealership to my house, which was jeep on route 4 *******. On April 2nd 2022 when I brought in vehicle *************************** became my service advisor and told me the car is under factory warranty take a seat and we will check to see what it causing this issue, but there will be a diagnostic charge of $469 dollars for two hours to diagnose vehicle. Almost 4 hours later her attitude switched up and she was raising her voice at me in front of customers and other employees accusing me of beating on my vehicle and doing burnouts in it. She continued to say she looked up a sticker I had on my vehicle and saw pictures of my jeep with big **************. The sticker was a automotive event car page which is all over the country, there must be ****s of jeeps on there and she was accusing me of neglecting my vehicle when all services have been done in timely manners at ************* In **. I believe this was a personal issue and the dealership might of known me or that I worked for other dealerships. I myself am a service advisor and have been for multiple dealerships and have never seen something the way I was treated at this location. I dont know if it was racist towards me being Greek ******* or that my girlfriend was speaking a foreign language to me when we were waiting in waiting room. I then once told they did not want to help me, told them I would go somewhere else. They then threatened that they would void my warranty on vehicle if I didnt fix it there. I then brought vehicle to ************* in *********** ** to fix vehicle on April 27th and was told everything was covered under factory warranty, before a new transmission could arrive ******* had void.

When the Jeep came into the service drive we noticed the tires/wheels were changed. Small wheels and tires were on Jeep and Jeep was lifted. Customer requested a diagnostic check for engine light and transmission shifting concerns. The technician scanned the vehicle which indicated the transmission overheated. Technician also noted the large tires had been on the vehicle which cut into the front and rear bumpers. A scan report was sent to Jeep corporate and the vehicles warranty was restricted based off the scan report.
