After 10+ years was given Zydus **********. I can't begin to tell you how sick it made me. Worst med I've ever been on.

i am stunned to read these reviews, especially the ** troubles. I am on an aromatase inhibitor for metastatic breast cancer. In September, we learned that anastrazole failed and I started on exemestane instead. I picked up the first 30 days immediately, from Rite Aid; then I was at a summer home and picked it up from the local, rural pharmacy. I got back to the city and got it from the mail order pharmacy.I was so miserably ill for weeks. I had extreme diarrhea and gas, gastric upset and pain, and insomnia! Fortunately, my oncologist was out of town and the nurse practitioner and I speculated it was the generic. (My oncologist is still insisting exemestane doesn't cause diarrhea.) I checked: I had taken three different generics. Breckinridge from Rite Aid, Aurobindo was the manufacturer of the exemestane from the rural pharmacy, and Zydus was the manufacturer of the mail order pharmacy. I went back to Rite Aid, got **************** manufactured exemestane and....after a couple more weeks, I am fine. No diarrhea, no stomach pains, no insomnia. Energy is back. I don't feel like I have a flu. I was so interested that some people taking Zydus trazedone, a completely different medication, had stomach problems and insomnia. It must be the formulation, the non-active ingredients they use. (My oncologist still insists exemestane doesn't cause diarrhea. Yah, it doesn't. Just Zydus's, as far as I can tell.)

Trazodone by Zydus is ineffective. The pills are noticeably smaller and most likely have much less of the actual medication. I am sure the pharmacy ordered them because they were the cheapest supplier.

I've never had an issue with trazodone 50mg before, I take it occasionally for sleep. I switched pharmacies from ******* to CVS, and after a second refill, the manufacturer must have changed. I've recently been noticing severe gas and intestinal pain, and diarrhea, symptoms consistent with gluten ingestion and assumed I was accidentally glutened during a few evening meals or developed a new food intolerance. As an individual with celiac disease, knowing what inactive ingredients are in medications is critical and not all medications are gluten free and I request manufacturer and lot numbers for any new prescriptions or changes in manufacturer. After coming across a recent review here suggesting trazodone by Zydus is bound with dairy or wheat, I believe the presence of wheat in the medication is very possible and the cause of my GI symptoms related to celiac disease and gluten ingestion, and also may have caused a gluten related rash to appear on my body. A blood test by my doctor will be able to confirm if my celiac antibody levels increased.

Like all others, I have taken trazodone for years and it helps tremendously with my sleep. My pharmacy switched to Zydus, and all of the sudden, my sleep was awful and I also developed such severe constipation and intestinal pain that I thought I had a major problem and wound up getting a CT scan. I suspect that the Zydus version of trazodone is bound with dairy or wheat, which many people don't digest easily, and that the issue in at least some of the people who say it doesn't work is that this version is more difficult to digest/metabolize than other formulations. This pill is much harder than the ones I am used to and is clearly made of different inactive ingredients.

I have had the same issue. Prescribed for sleep, other brands work, but this one multiple night wakings. Concerns regarding efficacy.

worst Tramadol I have ever taken. First of all, I was bumping into everything and still had a lot of pain. If I wanted to be loopy for the rest of my life and not kill my pain, this would be perfect. I have been taking Tramadol for years but made by Teva. I know all these pharmacies are cheaping out with the customers but I'm going to raising a lot of h*** about this mess. I am stuck with these till Sept. Pain meds I can't even take.

I thought I might have been given a placebo until I found out the pharmacy had switched my Trazadone rx to one manufactured by Zydus and read the reviews on this site! I have been taking Trazodone for many years and have always slept through the night. This past week since since I started the new pills, I have woken up every 1 to 2 hours all night! Awful!!
