I was very sceptical at first with this company because I never heard of it before. Im so glad I took the chance and signed up with them! They have been so very helpful with all of my questions, they took the time to educate me on my bill and explained everything to me multiple times to help me understand better. And not to mention every time I call I never wait as long as I would with other companies. I highly recommend this company for your utilities! They also allow a one time rate change! No one else does this!XOOM Energy LLC

1 starThis company rips off customers. I tried so hard to get them to help me during very hard times and explained to them that I seriously thought they were a savings program. My bills were doubled! They don't care! No help whatsoever even though I canceled them a year ago. I called and canceled again and they said it would be 2 more months before I can cancel. Great concept, terrible enrollment process. We tried to enroll in their gas services in ********* and were told we need to put a $90 deposit down in order to start because of a credit check. They first asked ** to verify the last 3 months of payment history on our energy bill to see if we paid on time. I submitted the documents and was told it was not enough proof to confirm credit liability and we'd have to make a deposit. My husband and I both have 800+ credit scores and ALL our bills are paid on time because we have automatic payments on ALL our services. Seems like scam to get $90 up front from all customers. If we aren't their ideal client, I'm not sure who is. I ask to speak with the credit department and was told they don't take calls.BBB I strongly recommend looking into how many customers end up needing to make these "refundable deposits" due to bad credit check.XOOM Energy LLC

XOOM Energy California, LLC apologizes for the issue ************ experienced with XOOM Energys credit review process. Upon receipt of ************** BBB review, a Quality Specialist spoke with ************ and explained that the process requires submission of either 3 recent invoices or a letter of credit. Further, she explained where only 1 recent invoice was submitted, the system would designate that a deposit would be required. However, after review of the additional information provided by ************, XOOM Energy has accepted the documents provided and has waived the deposit requirement. ************ appreciated the call and resolution. We hope ************** experience with our Quality Specialist not only provided him with the desired resolution of his concern, but also provided a positive customer experience.Review fromIra J

I was double charged for $163.00 and the company has told so many LIES about refunding my money back to my account as a Senior Citizen. I don't have extra money to be credited to an account .I was promise (LIED) to by Management and **************** that I will be receiving my money back in 7 days by Management. **************** stated that I will receive my money within 10 to 15 days and it has not happened as of this day. I paid this money on behalf of my sister 1.****************** ( $163.00) and #2 ($163.00) 2. Name of account ****** (******************)3.**************.4.************, ***** 5 Relationship to account holder (Brother, ********** ****** of ********* I took care of this matter for ******* because she was in rehab, and she couldn't get this done on her own. 7. New customer here and not very impressed. Their prices may be competitive, but is it worth the hassle of going back 20 years in how you pay bills?1. Detailed bills are ONLY available if you have a paper copy mailed to you. You can see the balance in an email that they will send or on their payment portal but not a detailed bill. 2. My first payment was sent by the bank as an check (apparently Xoom can't receive a e-payment) and arrived prior to the due date, but it was not posted until 10 days after the due date and marked late. I was informed that the only way to ensure that payment is marked as received on time is to call, make a payment on their portal, or set up auto pay. I only use auto pay with trusted companies and Xoom had not earned my trust.XOOM Energy LLC

XOOM Energy *******, LLC apologizes for the experience **************** had with one of our representatives when contacting our ************* team. Upon receipt of her review, a Quality Specialist spoke with **************** and provided her with available payment options. During the conversation, the Quality Specialist reaffirmed that **************** can manage her account through XOOM Energys online portal. Creating an online account enables customers to review their invoice details and payment history. Additionally, the Quality Specialist advised the secure payment portal allows customers to schedule payments on their terms, or she could continue to use her banks online payment platform. **************** was also advised that in October 2021 the US ************** changed their service for first class mail delivery which may delay the receipt of her payments when mailed. The Quality Specialist discussed a solution which should prevent her payments from arriving late due to mail delays. We hope **************** experience with our Quality Specialist not only provided her with a resolution of her concerns, but also provided a positive customer experience.Review fromSyd C

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their customer service is a nightmare. After my year contract ended, I asked them if I would still be able to redeem my Xoom xtras. They said I would be able to redeem whatever points I had accumulated. However, right after the phone call, they deactivated my account. I called and asked them to speak with a supervisor and they said no. ALL supervisors were in a meeting and couldn't be available. What business doesn't let you speak with a supervisor? I have over 109K saved and they said they wouldn't do a think about it. This company DOES NOT CARE. Don't give them you time or business.XOOM Energy LLC

We reviewed your account and note that a ************* supervisor contacted and spoke to you regarding your **** Xtras account. Unfortunately, per the terms of the **** Xtras program, once your account becomes inactive you are not able to redeem the Xtras koiyns accumulated. The Care supervisor offered a more flexible program that XOOM Energy offers called the XOOM Energy Rewards program. These rewards do not expire and in resolution of your issue, the Care supervisor applied rewards in excess of the value of the original koiyns to your account. We hope you found this resolution satisfactory.
