    I went to a dermatologist in *********, ** which had been taken over by a new group (********* ******************* I had a full body scan and 4 suspicious moles cut off for biopsy. It was a Friday. I asked the PA about aftercare: wash with soap and water, apply pressure if bleeding occurs, contact her with any signs of infection. On Monday, I received a VM from an unknown source. It was a very garbled message, which I needed to contact for clarity. It was from Apotheco Pharmacy in *********, ** which I never heard of (and I am from *********). It was to inform me that "my Rx" was ready... some cream to use for 7 days from the dermatologist. N.B. It's 4 days since the excisions. What? The dermatologist did not mention any Rx. Nor did she ask what pharmacy I prefer to use. I told the pharmacy I needed to follow up on this as she made no such recommendation, nor did she mention this strange pharmacy. The derm group said the PA ordered the cream and sent the Rx to their preferred pharmacy electronically. I'm 70 years old and this is not how it works. I dropped the matter. Same pharmacy called back days later to tell me to get the Rx. I let them know I did not intend to get the mystery Rx and that I would never use their business. They said that they would see IF they could "UN-BILL" my insurance company. This is entirely unethical. Please beware of this pharmacy and whatever odd relationship they have with the dermatology group. Each step with this Apotheco Pharmacy does not pass "the sniff-test."
