Last year I had purchased a motorcycle from this dealer and I noticed that there was a different price on the **** of sale than on the promissory note. When I addressed the situation to the dealer directly, I felt I was given the run around on the pricing and told it was because of a warranty I had purchased. I recently reviewed the pricing and spoke to eaglemark savings bank but they also could not tell me why there was 2 different prices on the motorcycle I had purchased. I also spoke to the dealer again in order to come to a conclusion about why there were 2 different prices but to no avail. I am seeking guidance on whether or not this sale was made under good merchant practices. I have the paperwork of the 2 different prices and I can provide them if needed in order to find a cordial resolution to this issue.

We spoke to the customer yesterday at length with documentation in hand to try to address his concerns. Our **** of sale itemizes more in depth and shows (A) sale price and (B) down payments and/or trade in values as individual line items, while the promissory note provided by Eagle **** ************* the lender, simply nets out these numbers into (C) one net amount. In this instance, the agreed upon price was (A) $12,495 less (B) $2,500 in down pay/trade equity leaving a net of (A-B) $9,995 (C). The customer is claiming $12,495 and $9,995 as two different prices, they arent; one is gross, and one is net. Additionally, we made several attempts to alleviate the customer's concern by showing that the borrowed amount on both **** of sale provided on dealership letterhead and borrowed amount provided by lender were identical. The customer was not given the run around at any time, he was given ample time and courtesy by a 22-year employee of this dealership who has earned several awards for professionalism and transparency from Harley Davidson ************** Any further discussions with the BBB on this matter would be welcomed by all members of this dealership.
