1 starThe absolute worst, cant even figure out how to show up for an appointment on time wasted my time today. Never even called me to tell me they were not showing up. I had to reach out to them to get her a response where they made a story of their secretary, messed up if the secretary messed up then call the customer, no wonder all these businesses go out of business they dont know how to do business.Review fromSteve P

1 starI just received today (04/11/2024) in the mail "*****************" which lists the ****************** Companies. In the section marked (Deck Building and Maintenance), Deck Guardian is featured as the top recommendation. In the write up, it states: "pressure treated pine is a popular, cost-effective choice for new deck construction". I called today (04/11/2024) and asked for a consultation for replacement of my 20 year old wood deck with a new wood deck. I received a phone call back an hour later and was told that "we don't install wood decks anymore" and I was also told that they do not use concrete footings anymore either.This is quite deceitful, putting in the "Best Pick Report" write-up (first paragraph) that "common deck materials include wood, wood composite, and PVC. Popular wood species used for decks include cedar, redwood, hardwoods....", and you don't use wood anymore. I assume that Deck Guardian had an opportunity to clarify the write-up, and that no real effort was made to do so. Shameful.Review fromBrian S

5 starsDid Deck Guardian need one more review stating how great they are at building decks? No. They are the premier deck creators in the area, you know this. I am writing one however because I don't want you to miss having the best, building your deck.I remember looking at the price quote from Deck Guardian and saying to myself are these guys crazy? Now I look at my finished deck and reflect on the process from selections, architect plans for township approval, township permits, township building requirement like soil disturbance area, the delivery of materials, the removal of garbage materials, clean up of work area at the end of each day, the professionalism of the work crew, the quality of the work, the building process, the professionalism of the project managers and office staff, they addressed any concerns I had, provided additional materials at no extra cost so that my deck would have the look that I wanted, and I can go on and on.I would have been crazy to go with another contractor to build my deck.Please do your research of course but Deck Guardian's reputation is well-earned.I would recommend them to my family and friends.If I have a deck project in the future; I would work with Deck Guardian again.Review fromSusan G

From the initial onsite consultation and showroom visit with ****, to permitting process and the fast and seamless build itself, we were so impressed with the team's work ethic, response times, and general helpful nature. We had about 7 other contractors look at our deck project and Deck Guardian was the most professional and competitively priced. The sales representative **** was very accommodating and friendly answering any and all of our questions. Once we agreed on the proposal, a dumpster that was labeled with the company logo was professionally placed in our driveway and the materials were delivered, within 2 hours my deck was taken away by Deck Guardians friendly team. The deck project was built with amazing speed with each worker having a specific job duty. I was constantly updated on the permits and upcoming inspections by ***** who answered all of my questions and returned my calls promptly. The township building inspector stated that " this company is doing a good job". The Deck Guardian team cleaned up the work area every day and were very friendly and respectful to me and my family. The Deck Guardian team is professional and knowledgeable and delivers on all their promises.Deck Guardian, Inc.

We found the Deck Guardian team to be very professional and knowledgeable. They promptly answered any questions or concerns that we had. The workmen were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. The supervisor visited several times and spent a lot of time talking to us about the project. We also found their showroom to be valuable in choosing our products. We have no complaints about Deck Guardian and would use their services again.Deck Guardian, Inc.

5 starsDeck Guardian was easy to deal with. They were efficient and completed the job in a timely manner. Everything is just as proposed and I am extremely happy with my deck.
